- In this video we will demostrate the firmware upgrade of the Double Din SjoyBring D008 Head unit. The upgrade can be performed during initial power check or after the head unit has been installed into the vehicle. This video also includes the firmware upgrade to add a specific logo screen and wallpaper screens.

This is the first time ever I wish TH-cam had a tip jar. Really appreciate your time to put together this explanation video/demo. Awesome to think that a “HAM radio guy with a hat” can sit at his desk and tteach something to pretty much the entire English speaking world!

My thought is why can't they just give you a link to the files you need without having to email them first? Feels pretty scammy to me. A company that sells this much radios should not have an app that you have to sideload for connecting your phone. It should be available in the market

I wonder what all the firmware update does, mine has worked just fine give or take the volume is a little lower. Plan to update it in the morning

Kool, I just got this Radio, but it was model A018. Its going into a 2006 Nissan Frontier. The A018 has Dual Camera. Front and back and the Front Camera also flips back 360 Degrees to face the driver should you be pulled over and record police. You know incase you want to dispute a ticket or some kind. Do you have any experience with the A018 Model?

Sorry, I have only worked with the D008 unit. I am sure the A018 are similar and if you have any questions the OEM will respond by the next day. Best of luck!

How can I get the update
I hace a question i just got mines and my mirror linkage with my phone don’t work it shows just the black screen but the rest Bluetooth and CarPlay work perfectly fine I have ask for an update it has an old update since last year you think that’s the issue ?
Could be. Just contact the OEM to see if there are any updates.
Would you happen to know the factoty reset code?
I believe my reset was 666999.
How has this radio been performing? I was thinking of getting it for the Android Auto feature for my car.
I install it into my daughters car in December and she loves it. No issues with the radios performance.
@@kn4yba80 I just wish it had wireless Android Auto so that I could charge my phone at the same time because I know this connection isn't going to let me fast charge my phone.
@@MrCt333 My daughter only uses the iPhone. I did first set up with my Android but really didn't do much other than to see if it would connect.

I sent a high quality 5312x2988 pixels and they made it work.

I did the fat 32 but when I plug the flash drive in my radio it’s a black screen
I have seen that being with USB sticks. Try with a different USB flash drive. That fixed it for me.

I’m getting so annoyed like after I do it I click on on my radio and it’s just a black screen after I hit ok like ugh
@@jaimefrick5499 Jaime, I'm not sure what size of flash drive you are using but try a smaller size to see if that works.
@@jaimefrick5499i dont know if you have figured it out or if you still need this but make sure its a usb 2.0 i got a 3.0 and worked perfect but was having same issue with a 1.0 usb
This is a NEW radio why do i have to do alll that shit? ive bought several of these chinese radios and they work fine right from the box, i cant even get the blue tooth to work without installing an app, They didnt even inclue a battery for the remote im boxing this pos back up and shipping it back, I could choose my car logo on my 10 in Amase Audio android radio and the blue tooth works fine right from the box
Everybody are allowed to share their thoughts. My daughter is very happy with this radio and I just document my experience to help others that may have a question.
