Good desription but the 'hands free' foot operated boot release has been discontinued. Not a huge problem but it was useful.
It was very useful indeed and it was a shame to see the feature go. Thankfully the HR-V offers an abundance of other useful features and technology all bundled up in a lovely compact SUV package 😀

We aren't sure as we are a UK-based car dealership. However, your local US Honda dealership should be able to assist.
Sir, how does one change the language on the dash for this HRV? Like if you want to move from English to French?
For changing the language you can do it by scrolling right on the Home Screen and find "General Settings" and then go to "System" and there you will have access to change the language to your desired language!
This can be done by choosing 'General Settings' on the home screen (scroll right to find this). Once you've clicked 'General Setings', click 'Language' and you'll be able to change to what you require.

Can you manage your calls via the steering wheel?
You can indeed! There's a handsfree communication button that will enable you to do many different tasks at the touch of a button - including making and manging your calls. Hope this helps!
Key fobs are expensive so don't lose it I thought I had lost mine and it was £360 for a new fob then £70 to have it coded and the new key blade cut so make sure its on your insurance

Hi Bro. With due respect to you, I highly appreciated your detailed review of the specifications and that was excellent. I don't believe that HONDA would release this with all the features in India as they think the Indians can't afford it. As the world knows Indians are more well-to-do people in the world though there is poverty. But there are people who can afford to purchase this variant with all the features. But to the info of the manufacturers, that's not correct. There are hard-earning people, the most corrupt people in the ministries but I believe if these features are provided in India this would be the best-selling vehicle. I don't wish to degrade the people in general because readers will feel it bad (for political reasons cuz we are senseless). From this video, I could understand a lot and wish you make a video regarding the EV range, fuel consumption in EV mode and in Hybrid mode and the actual range that could be attained in Hybrid mode. Thanks and sorry if I have hurt someone. I learnt a lot from you Bro, I wish whosoever makes a review truly understands what they are actually projecting to the viewers. Your review according to me was absolutely 100% satisfactory. Sorry if my expressions were realistic and too long. Thumbs up to you. What I wrote is because I owned Honda City and Honda CRV.
1. You say you press the power button twice to get the accessories mode - but you only press it once
2. My car has also 3 ventilation control buttons but the left is the on/off and the middle has no explanation
3. When you press the set of buttons on the RH side of the steering wheel and scroll through - you do not show HOW you scroll through - you do not show what you press to do so.
4. I am confused between the LIM button and the icon showing dotted lines either side of the car
5. unlike the rear wiper, the front wiper stick does not have writing to show what position it's in - so you never know until you try it
Interest went up to 😢 not a good time to buy a car right now 😊

Unbelievable how far superior this model is compared to the US version. We have “Acura” here (Hondas “luxury” brand), and due to that Honda makes their vehicles not nearly as nice as they are in the rest of the world.

But HRV in the US is the same platform as Civic, this one Honda B class car. This exact HRV even still has a torsion beam on the rear
Hi Rowes Garage, I need information from you about the new Honda HR V, I bought one in Portugal, and the rep can't give me an answer, all my cars to this day, their own automatic locking like doors when the car starts driving at about 10 km/h... why doesn't the same happen with the HR V? Will I need to activate any functions? Thanks in advance
Hi Fernando 👋🏼 This feature can be activated in the settings, so that you will get the same auto lock functionality that you are used to with the new HR-V Hybrid.

Great. Car but cars went up 10,000 more
Almost every professional reviewer has remarked on how noisy and strained the engine sounds at anything more than the most modest acceleration
I also worried a little about that but now we have the car I find I drive it differently than the my previous diesel HR-V. I work my right foot with the engine to avoid extremes and this also then gives back excellent economy. We have done just 1000 miles so far but we're about to head down France so it will be interesting to compare engine and road noise with previous Hondas. I suspect they're not best in class for this but they are excellent in so many other respects. It is very difficult to find the perfect car!
"So we've opened the fuel cap.. we've undone the little lever by the driver's footwell.." Huh? When did that happen? Was thinking an HR-V might be good for me but I'm put off already. I can't think of anything I need less and that would be more irritating than an electronic boot. I think I'll stick to driving a van.
Thanks for the feedback. The fuel filler lever been a feature on a number of manufacturer vehicles, not just Honda, for a fair while now. I will not buy honda anymore. Why? I bought honda vezel hybrid 2017 Before its 1st 40000km control arm bushing gone and power steering rack worn out.
Rear both tyre camber is out of order. Its a manufacturing fault cannot correct. Many of vezel parts made in china low quality parts.
