Shago has faster fireballs, a slide special instead of wind kick, air fireballs, can do little enhanced versions of his moves with the little "surge" chunk at the end of his meter on top of full shadow moves with a half bar. Different normals, different DP (more like Sean's dragon smash in 3s), instinct is completely different... etc. They're hugely different characters.

Its very simple to understand, but hard to master. Combos are easy to do, but you also have to pay attention to what your opponent does as well.
I believe it's free right now on Xbox One with all the season 1 characters. So theres that if you want to try it out.
