    Once I started not caring about upload schedule and how many views I get. I started enjoying the process again. Tried new things and even though the “viral” hit hasn’t hit yet I am starting to love my channel. Love the people watching it. It’s so much fun now

    I have followed Charlie for a long time already, his level of shyness and anti-social matches mine. Heck, I used to hate meeting peoples too. But we all can always change for the better. A story worth to be told and held firmly to for motivation.

I remember on my old channel in 2017 I started doing Rap songs related to gaming situations (like reviving in BF1) and they bombed... then I did hyper edited The Division funny videos... bombed... the started streaming... bombed. Then started this channel. Learned animation and did gaming animations... and it finally started to work. Now im working on a whole 3D movie in my universe that should drop 2025... and it might bomb and that's okay... it might be the next Murder Drone ...u never know u gotta keep trying and trying

    Not caring about upload schedule is interesting. Because of the nature of my channel, exploring historical sites in Japan, it takes quite a while to go out to record, write a script and edit the video. I think the upload schedule is something I worry about a lot, but I think it's important to try not to think about it and just enjoy the process. I think if we all try to remember we are doing this for FUN, then we won't feel as stressed about YT

    • @AsAboveSoBelow-sk1jw
      @AsAboveSoBelow-sk1jw หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I can resonate with you on this. The subject that you have chosen to make takes a lot of pre-production in the forms of research and ensuring that the content is historically accurate as it can be. I talk about different types of spiritual matters on my channel, and even though I have enough content to produce many videos, the pre-production still takes time to complete. I am not sure how you structure your content, but what I did was take a subject and made shorter videos and turned it into a series, and I am thinking about making a supercut. With that strategy, you could probably create more views and create a retention loop from having a series. At the end of the day use what resonates for you.

I wouldn't say I'm the same, but I'm very anti-social, i don't like to go out a lot, i get bored very easily of things(especially when I'm playing or recording video games), i tend to overthink a lot and think too much on the negative side of life plus I'm not in the best shape. And while I didn’t really need the final point for where I’m wanting to take the content. It did just send a message saying to keep trying new things, and with my channel (though i wasn’t planning on telling my viewers till this weekend) is about perseverance whilist also keeping the main game splatoon. I started 2022 Jan, pushed that channel to approx 2k subs and decided to create a fresh later that year. I’m in the gaming niche, I do gameplay, commentary, guides, reactions, interviews, collabs, parody songs and what not. I built a community, have my Discord and enjoying every video I create. I’m not big, only at 3,5k but I’d be doing the same if I had 35k or 350k. Keep going, do what you like and do it in a way where you give the most of yourself. Spice that with some humor and you’ll be fine. Don’t give up, never give up.

      Dude Ive been uploading on youtube for 4 years and I got 7k subscribers, like, yesterday, 4 years after uploading and uploading and uploading and nothing happening. I was at 900 subs last I checked and my most amount of views was 1K
      My advice is two things: upload on tiktok. Say what you want about that platform, but that platform gives everyone a chance to get a spotlight (unlike TH-cam) so all that "brainrot" prejudice you got, get rid of it, ignore it, upload on tiktok.
      My second advice is straightforward. Get yourself the vidiq plugin. Now whenever you upload a video the video will have a SEO score on the side (something like 12/50). Optimize that SEO score to give a really high number. The closest to 50 the better.
      And, well, third of course is to make good videos. If you don't know where to go from here, just think about videos you would want so eagerly to watch but don't exist, and make them.
      And maybe fourth. Iterate, optimize and improve. DO NOT STAY IN MEDIOCRITY ever.
      At the end of the day, this platform is a commitment test.

    What I find about creating content is that "the harder you work the luckier you get." Create one or two videos and maybe a few people see them, maybe they don't. Flip a coin right? Create a few more, work on an interesting intro... maybe some game play, maybe something that is graphically catching. And a soundtrack, something that hooks you when you hear it, like the opening to 007. Now the audience is intrigued, throw in some filters, effects, little things to spice up the video, a few transitions here and there. Add some personality and humor et voila, you have a "brand" I think. My own channel is small but it's growing, we're at 195 subscribers and I'm happy with my progress. Every video is an opportunity to learn and improve. Every new subscriber is a victory. This is the way. 😁

      =(, same posted 30 or so lastweek, one I liked the start of got 0 views too. I think I'm starting to be truly convinced that there are ppl that work for youtube that if they hate you for whatever reason your videos just magicly" don't get shared or see the light of day. An what the higherups need to realize is how much they destroy desire an drive an crush small channels by not letting us be heard. I make music on another channel, I sit down an just hit record an see what happens improv" comedy style if you will, an sometimes I feel like I connected the dots pretty well an make something worth listening to an some weasel I feel behind the curtains won't share it like others. TH-cam would rather share mrbeast breaking like 300 paper thin glass bottles over his head an call it entertainment =( lol I'm just like....really? Stuff is nauseating, ppl are like braindead zombies feeding these boring powerhouses. I'm like holy cow, give me something worthwhile something uplifting meaningful, substance, some meat, leave me with more than less. TH-cam wants to know if ppl are satisfied..if only they knew how to read comments and actually let people's voice be heard rather than piling them under skyscrapers of the same rerun garbage videos of who they like. My videos are posted under piano/keyboard music. Type that into search an I searched forever scrolling to find just one of my videos an after scrolling an scrolling forever the same "popular" garbage started re running through my search. Never found even one of my videos. An I'm just thinking..youtube?? Is this not rigged? Does this seem right? An this is how you destroy any new good upcoming thing. Secretly bury that channels videos an blame it on an "algorithm" /sigh

    I see a lot of similarity between penguinz0 (MoistCr1TiKaL) and Asmongold in their growth and path to success.
    They both come from the gaming niches, have popular livestreams and have made thousands of evergreen videos on youtube. They have grinded their way and are very old school. Then, allowing for a ton of experience on social media, specifically twitch and youtube.
    But what is also more valid is that they are very well spoken. People like to listen to them because they can articulate themselves quite well. They have established authority in their worlds that allow them to "gravitate viewers into their sphere of influence".
