Hi Brett i been doing my O non immagration visa for 5years due to married. Once the police come to your home you will get it. In jan you will get 1 year stamp. Between now and then if you done hear from immagration the day you go you will get the stamp. If they need more info they will call you but all the info you have given do not worry you will get the Extention so chill out have a wonderful xmas and new year. If you have questions just ask. I know immagration is different everywhere. But i like you know where i live in samut sakhon is one of the most hardest places to to extend but in 5 years i never had a problem
Thank you for your video. Will be interesting to know the final outcome as I'm in the same situation. Had to travel back to Australia on urgent business last May and didn't bother with the re-entry permit as I new I wouldn't be back in Thailand before my O-A retirement visa expired. Will be returning to Thailand in Late January and will apply to immigration for an O visa based on retirement. Already have the financials in place that was for my expired visa so all ok there. I'm of the understanding that the retirement visa is much easier than marriage visa. I know a few people who were in Thailand on the O marriage visa but then converted to a retirement visa once they reached 50.
