Di actually doesn't work as a tool against luigi combos at zero percent. This is because Luigi combos do not send into tumble at this percent, making di useless. However, sdi will help get out of this combo. To sdi, wiggle the control stick in a quarter circle motion back and forth in the direction you want to end up. If you sdi left, the luigi will most likely mess up the combo because you will end up getting sent behind luigi. Di will work at percentages over 10 roughly.

Have you forgotten something about his Green Missile is one the terrifying attack when he gets a misfire. Sometimes they'll use it during after they finish the combo to catches you off guard.
Then, it's really just hit or miss. Players don't know when they get the misfire and if they don't which is like 9 out 10 times, they get open for punish as Green Missile is not that strong.
1:54 Luigi can death combo up until 35 percent on midweights, 25 on light weights and like 45 on heavy weights so idk if this is really a valid strategy. He has grab kill confirm combos at basically any percent so if you’re up against a Luigi you’re better off trying to take damage by letting some stuff hit
I don't understand how to DI cyclone. I generally try to DI towards the side of Luigi I'm already on (I DI left if I'm on the left side of Luigi and DI right if I'm on the right side of Luigi), but often times, I end up getting launched from the opposite side of Luigi and ultimately just going straight up because my DI was wrong.
I set really stupid challenges for myself, I’m trying to 3 stock Luigi with Sora on Rainbow Cruise, and finish with a FS. Makes me want to punch a wall
I am a luigi main, I only mained him for his 0-death combos which i learned. If you use a lot of aerials and bait out his grab he is basically dead. His new 0-death is a lot harder and way easier to di out of. But is possible to counter the di if the luigi is good enough
