My brother used 2 have it’s sister ship! Was my favorite under 30’ sailboat ever! We’ve both had numerous sailing craft from 23’ -50’! But I’ve always wanted 2 find another ‘86 Pearson 28 for weekending on!
Great boat tour! I’m adding the Pearson 28 to my list of potential first sailboats. I would be mostly cruising here on the Chesapeake. How has the boat maintenance been over the past couple of years? Any surprises or the usual maintenance stuff? Thanks and be well.
Thanks! Yes, it is a great boat, especially for the Chesapeake. Maintenance hasn't been too bad. I had to replace the fresh water pump when its bearings went out. Other than that pretty much routine preventative maintenance.
And all of that fits under 28ft. Impressive :)

About how much did you pay for her? I’m looking at one in Jersey listed about 20k, seems steep but looks good condition
Actually sold her about a year ago for $15k, same price I bought her for about 3 years before that.
