- This is an edited full length video going through step-by-step what is needed to remove and replace the passenger side CV axle on your Jeep Grand Cherokee. The job took about 2.5 hours because of having to cut the stabilizing links off and of course shooting the video. I apologize in advance for some of the air blowing noise, but it was a very warm day and I needed some air movement. :) Take a look and perhaps this will help you with your project! Cheers!

You should be sponsored by Harbor Freight. Great video and very informative. Step by step instructions is what I need.
Thank you for the kind words! I am so glad the video was helpful to you. You made my day! -Dutch
Good video.
Thank you! -Dutch
Recommend new axle and ball joint nuts.
Good points! I didn't do the axle nut because I literally was replacing the wheel hub in a couple days (see my other videos for that!). It would be interesting to know where that "new nut" idea came from. Either an over abundance of caution or perhaps a layover from the ol' castle nut days? Regardless, I would personally say I am on the fence with that...if it they aren't rusted out and torque fine? You still have a valid point and I appreciate your feedback. -Dutch
I forgot to put the outer seal (near the wheel hub) back on. Am i good to go or?
I think you are talking about the thin metal piece? I am not 100% sure of its function. My uneducated guess would be that you are probably okay for the short term, but I would make plans to put it back on as soon as you possibly can....just to be safe and have all original parts back in place. -Dutch
