    Superb! Thanks to the editor and special thanks to the many guardsmen taking part...thoroughly enjoyed watching the guards march to their bands in my old home town. Quite something. Very special too.

    Very well done. Miss the very smart constable who used to march in front of parade a few years back.

    Excellent video and selections. I love the way the bandmaster and drum major of the Royal Canadian Air Force Band salute the war monument (on the far right) at 11:11 and do so simultaneously. A very nice touch. Perhaps other bands should follow their example. Thanks for posting.

      Although I did not use the date info to extract the names of the Bands etc, the dates of the videos that I used are listed in chronological order (as they appear in the mix) in the header notes.
      It is highly likely that you would be able to see the Drum Major info in the videos comments for those dates. After all, you added them there in the first place :) Pip pip !

      Good for you. I am not half so organised when it comes to this material. All in one place but no naming convention, just the raw filenames from the camera. I never expected to keep going and I am still mildly surprised when I find myself standing in the Guildhall on a Saturday morning. Ho hum. Onward and upward.

    When on every parade there has to be a police guard to protect soldiers you know something has gone terribly wrong

    • @XxStuart96xX
      @XxStuart96xX 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      They aren't there to 'protect' soldiers so much as they are there to provide security at a public parade with a large crowd, ensure the road is clear, and so forth. The soldiers can obviously look after themselves, but in a time of peace, it is not their responsibility to police the streets.

      Chill, he is literally doing his job. What do you expect him to do? They are there to escort the parade in case there are any obstacles in the way of the parade.
