Fantastic video as usual! Great to see Seamus leading! ☘️☘️ The marches played were, 1) 0:06-Company Marches of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards ¹ The Star of the County Down ² Holy Ground ³ Boys of Wexford ⁴ The Green Glens of Atrim ⁵ The South Down Militia (Return to Barracks) 2) 5:26-Company Marches of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards ¹ The Star of the County Down ² Holy Ground ³ Boys of Wexford ⁴ The Green Glens of Atrim ⁵ The South Down Militia
The discipline and preparation for the channing of the Guard is so well done that they make it look easy , from the marching to the uniforms inspections to be had prior to the march.... i was thinking all of this while watching thankyou for posting really enjoy it.
Im so proud to be Irish..Parents...Dublin and Kildare...God bless all my Irish clans..the Irish sense of humour and gaelic beauty...cant miss the Aussies out love you guys and your humour xxx
The "Micks" looking well turned out and sounding good. Lots of energy being used there. Seamus looking well, I take it he must have to have a good run out and toilet break before he starts is duties? It would not be a good look otherwise!
Love the video as usual, just a small thing. Like the Scots Guards, the Irish Guards also boast a distinctive national feature in their pipe band. Uniquely in the British Army, the Irish Guards ensemble is referred to as the "Drums and Pipes," rather than the "Pipes and Drums." (Since drums were carried by British soldiers before pipes, the drums are senior.)
It can be either, I tend to use pipes and drums as it comes from many events such as the Edinburgh tattoo, and other tattoos, changing the guard. It means the same thing but can be used with either name!
Seamus is the mascot of the regiment. He goes through lots of training. He has attended parades including Trooping the Colour. Beautiful Irish Wolfhound and very well known among the followers of the IG of the Irish guards. He also has received his Shamrocks from the Princess of Wales in St. Patrick's Day ceremony. A remarkable regiment and a charismatic and good boy! ❤
Seamus doing his walkies with his pipers, drums and bodyguards.....Turlough Mor, you are such a beauty😍😍😍❤❤❤Awesome Irish Guards Pipes and Drums❤

Bit of an excessive way to take the dog for a walk
Wish they'd learn some new tunes, and Seamus needs a pint of Guinness
❤️🔥🙏⚖️🍕
A very big dog...
Yes, it's an Irish Wolf Hound. Regimental mascot of the Irish Guards.

Faugh a ballagh
The pipers seemto be slightly out of step with the bass drum and the guard
Let us preserve all Christian traditions and leave the communist EU. Warm greetings to all Irish, Scots, Welsh, and English from a Croatian.
If it wasnt for the EU Ireland and Croatia would have the GDP and living standards of Sierra Leone
