To me this is not dog fighting. This is just going in circles facing one another. Dog fighting is trying to get behind your target or enemy. Maybe theyll come up with something that prevents this slugging back and forth.
i agree, movement must be enhanced. It's also very punishing currently to push. But they are working on it!
You cannot dogfight in space. The whole reason that dogfighting in air exists is the need to be moving and facing forward constantly or you crash and die. That need does not exist in space. So you're never going to get on someone's six. They can just turn around. and shoot at you the whole time.
You can still do that. It’s what I primarily do. What makes it difficult is how much damage a ship can take. You do a lot of work to get behind them and then hopefully can keep it in target long enough to get through their shields and damage the hall. Tumbling through space works too though
I don’t know any real life flight moves so I don’t know how that impacts. But with more than just your rear engines, it really changes things. It’s more like fighting in a he lector vs a helicopter than a plan vs plan.

If this is mastermodes dogfighting I don't want it. It looks super arcadey and just seems like two spaceships standing still shooting with minimal movement or strategy..
