There is no audio on this video about the 1947 rebuild
Hello, I just checked, the audio seems to be working fine on my end
Has anyone done a TH-cam video on a 48 - 50 F2 transmission?
If you are talking about the 4 speed there is none that I know of, I usually ditch that transmission for the 3 speed with synchronizers. But there are plenty on the 3 speed if that’s what you have
@@WiredCustomsSpeedShop thanks for the response!
I have a 41 ford 3 on the tree. Gears are bad. I also have a 51 ford 3 on the tree. That's good gears. Will the 51 gears work in a 41?
Hello! I would have to see what transmission they are specifically, feel free to message me on either Instagram or Facebook, I am much more responsive there
Do you do 1950 truck trann
Back in the day i 1948 Ford with a 283 Corvette engine in it , and i'am here to tell that transmission took a beating . Never did have it apart the rear axle now that was a different story , the axle key ways were the problem until a old race car builder put double key ways in the hubs and axles for me that stopped it ..........5" shackles Olds tires and wheels dual exhaust , man i was shitting in high cotton ,oh moon hub caps .....................lol.......................
Is it common for there to be missing teeth of the cluster on 1st gear? Cheers
It’s common for them to have the need to be filed and clean up the rough edges, 1st is unsynchronized and takes a beating
Great video! The Early Ford Store in San Dimas is my favorite resource for my '40 Sedan!
And it's not even a complete rebuild .Just a take apart video 📹 🤪
This is part 1, there is a part 2
Really is disappointing that I can't get what I need out of this rebuild to do my own 47 .It would be great if it could be redone so others could hear it as well.
Don the audio works just fine, it’s had 2k views already and a lot of comments
@@WiredCustomsSpeedShop My volume is on full and still can't hear a thing .I went to another person's video and it worked just fine so I don't know what is wrong with hearing your video.
@@donhoughton271 I’m not sure either, I’ve had three people check it and all day it’s fine
Audio works fine for me.. Great video and part two is also great and very instructional..
Thank you for watching!
About to dive into a rebuild of 39 trans. This was a great refresher as well as I picked up some new knowledge . 👍🏽
Thanks Matt! I am glad to help any way I can
Great video! Thank you! Great info here!
No problem thank you for watching!
Cool video man I’ve got to do one off these soon so it was cool to see how it broke down look forward to the rebuild 👍🏼take it easy mate 👍🏼🍺😎🇳🇿
Right on! Thank you, best of luck with yours
Thanks so much for so many of your posts . They are easy to follow and easy to visualize with your filming . I will have to deal with this come spring . I do have and original 1947 Ford shop manuel which is great but to hear and see sure is a bonus . Please keep the videos happening . Having the videos to look back at and study ... before , during and after is a very valuable tool !
Thank you for all the kind words! I hope your rebuild goes smoothly
Nice video, great tear down
Thank you!
Awesome video
Thank you, thanks for watching Brian
Great video. Would love one on removing the trans and replacing the clutch. Never done a torque tube style before. :-)
Thank you! I can tell you that you have to either remove the rear axle completely or remove the engine!
@@WiredCustomsSpeedShop Just bought a '47 Tudor Sedan. Clutch chattering like a mother!
@@gwolfe1231 it’s gotta go! Haha.
