I listened to that 3 o clock record you showed on TH-cam, really cool stuff. I have a signed seeds record, I have no way to verify but it says “to my brother, sky sunlight Saxon” and it looks just like verified copies of his his signature and handwriting online. I found autobahn at a local antique store last year for 2 or 3 bucks, great album! I need to get some feelies
Nice to see another Feelies album besides their first one. A under rated band. I am a big fan of 80s garage rock revival, so much great music was produced echoing the 60s. I am new to your channel so I’ll give you a sub and check out some ire of your videos.
Right on! Sorry for the late response, was looking over this one again and just saw this. I need to learn way more about '80s garage rock. I just heard the Chesterfield Kings for the first time this month and was blown away. I really need to dig into their catalog.
Hi, nice finds. Relatively Clean Rivers is a unofficial release, but it's a quality release. It sounds good and the gatefold is well done. Congrats, not easy to find. Greetings
Oh nice, I didn't even know Relatively Clean Rivers was a gatefold, it's still in the shrink, I'll have to double check my copy. It was at the local record store and my friend who works there said they got it from their distributor, who he said does not sell bootlegs. Mysterious?
Hey there ! Had to check in and support your channel ! This will be good, as I know I'm gonna like your choices. I'm liking your "Elevators" mono.. Cool ! And The Seeds.. You did well nailing that one down ! Good choice on hunky Dory being your #1.. and Queen Bitch is a killer track ( been into it since 1972 as a 15 yr. old ). I want one of those Feelies ! I picked the other Rhinoceros thrifting, not as good as yours and hope to find one soon ! Good vid.. Thanks !
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out! Glad to hear that you got into Bowie when that song was really new! I love me some Seeds and Elevators, that stuff is my jam!
Yes, I have a "Village Green" on PRT and "Face to Face" on PRT. Both sound excellent! I also have a US Reprise Stereo "Face to Face" and that album just doesn't sound right in stereo, unless you want to study and dissect guitar overdubs that were hard-panned to different channels for some reason. Would def love to get all original Pye pressings of the Kinks '60s catalog, but PRT would be awesome too.
Hey Buddy!! Nice Finds.... Yeah!! Early 80's Was The Start Of Some Good Garage And Psych Being Released... You Are On The Right Track, Lots Of New Bands Were Situng The 60's As Big Influences.... Like You Mentioned Labels Like Sundazed And Rhino Were Starting Up!!! Dang Dude The Frost Album Prize For Sure!!! You My Friend Make An Old Psych/Garage Collector's Heart Soar!!!! Peace And Love!!!!
Dan, that's awesome! I've really been amazed at the things I've picked up this year overall, but the last two months have extra special. It's almost too much to take in all at once. There must've been so much going on so quickly in the '60s that a lot of it got overlooked at the time and was only truly appreciated retrospectively many years later. Peace and love and groovy vinyl sounds!
@@DanSPsych67 yes, that's a huge part of the fun, is all the new discoveries. It's a gift that keeps on giving. Then you get into all the different pressings and you can really go crazy with it. I just like stuff that sounds good to my ears.

A good bunch of records. The first time I heard Autobahn my girlfriend and I were at a party tripping on acid. Group Therapy is not great. I still have my copy but haven’t listened to it since I picked it up about 8 years ago. I should relisten to it.
Yes, I actually have a "Face To Face" on Sanctuary with a 50th Anniversary hype sticker, although the album came out in 1966. Didn't realize Kevin Grey worked on those, good stuff! I also have PRT mono from Germany 1981 and a 1967 US Stereo copy, and I'll say the mono versions sound so much better!
just found your channel, you live in FL? I've never been to Sounds Good Music but want to try and make it over there this weekend maybe, thanks for the tip on them!
Yes, they are an excellent record store! The founder and original owner passed away in late 2022, but one of his best friends along with a former employee reopened it in the spring of 2023 and have done an excellent job!

That is awesome, and "Sky Sunlight Saxon" seems to be pretty on-brand from what I've read about the man, the myth, the legend that is Sky Saxon.

Kinks on PRT from the early 80's is the way to go. I recall the releases being mono.

Great story! And thanks for stopping by Vinyl Richie, I’ve enjoyed watching your videos about records!
By the way, I ended up taking Group Therapy back to the record store. They are so awesome they let me bring albums back for store credit.
The Kinks mono reissues on Sanctuary from 2015 are awesome... done by Kevin Grey from the analog masters...
