I recently encountered a serious issue while upgrading the speakers on my Ford Bronco with the standard sound system, and I want to share a warning with the community. If you plan on using the METRA 72-5603 connectors for the dash and rear pod speakers, please be aware that the cables may be inverted. During my installation on May 1. 2023, I noticed that the positive cable was aligned with the negative cable, causing some confusion. To clarify, I reached out to Crutchfield support with photos, and they confirmed that the connectors may be inverted. I suggest double-checking your connectors before proceeding with your installation to avoid any potential issues. Thank you for your attention and I hope this information can help others avoid this problem.
Love your content man! Your attitude made me sub! Question: is the access DSP/T harness only required when you add amplifiers for the regular speakers? I plan to swap all speakers (no amps) and add that lifegate subwoofer (obviously needs an amp), I have a 2022 Lux if that matters
I’m not criticizing, I just started looking into upgrading my bronco’s speakers and amp, but I have a few questions. Did you run all new speaker wires? If not, I'm confused as to why you needed three amps. Aren't the front door and dash speakers wired in parallel? If using the factory speaker wires, wouldn’t this mean you only need two channels for those four speakers? And then another two channels for the rear speakers? Unless, of course, you ran new speaker wires to each speaker (which is something I’m thinking of doing). Also, if using the factory speaker wires for the front speakers, does wiring them in parallel (not sure if I have that right, maybe it's in series.) does that lower the total ohm rating, and will that hurt the amp? Great video, you're definitely a pro. How long have you been doing this? Thanks in advance.
Totally love this build , great ideas on the amps placement , I am planing doing very same thing with 2 larger amps. Wanted to ask you if the one cooling fan might be pulling first from under the car back to the amp box ? Love to see it close up photos when is done if passible. Also , where do you tap the 2 cooling fans to ?
Interesting. So those fans are pulling in outside air? Rain and all? Also, there is plenty of room to run your wiring down the sills rather drilling all those holes in the floor.
Can't run to the floor cubby without going under. The floor sits flat, so you would have to cut the floor panel and make a massive channel to run the wires across. Trust me, I looked at every option before drilling the holes.
I’m perplexed, what’s the point of the water proof connections in the cubby…when you turn it into a swimming pool during a under body car wash or puddles. Why not vent it into the cargo area? 👎🏼
Built a similat syatem using a d6.1200 but im getting no audio signal at the amp any suggestions. Did add the lgd resistors but still nothing any help would be greatly apreciated
@@CustomAudioReimagined I haven't forgotten you! I got notice my Bronco is being built mid-April and I have been waiting for 22 months so far. Another couple of months and I'm calling you up for that audio install. :)
Clearly you know what you are doing but why 3 amps? Couldnt you have used one 1 amp that covered everything? Kicker makes the kicker key. Nice and small fits under the steering column
Shouldn’t you have disconnected the ground from the battery and tested the negative lead to the ground in the rear? Essentially, you tested a live circuit.
Clean! I am giving thought to a Bronco build, and this gave me enough detail for my mind to take off. Thank you
Great video, glad to learn about the load resistors. I thought it was the green ones but notating it’s the blue ones.
That was definitely an expensive job, with all the knowledge and engineering and customization he had to do, and it looks to be worth EVERY Penny! 🔥
The kickers in the dash, a lot of people have complained that they overpower everything else with the sound.
They can if you run them full range but by adding an inline filter or using an external crossover with dsp you can tame them down.

Amazing Job Cabe , I’m using Same Equipment, Speakers and T-harness 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Great job. Too bad your not in Florida, lol. You would be doing this build on my Black Diamond!!
Super clean install. Fantastic work.

Nice install and video!

Why didn't you use the d1200 built in dsp more power same brand and less wiring..and 3 powers y not 4gauge w distro?
What was the cost on this system?
I am looking to do a similar install can you tell what kind of controller used for the fans and the type and size of fans used?

Do you have a link to the fans / filters? Concerned about water at all?
Super clean

You would have water infiltration if you ventilate the storage pocket.

Wish this has been for the two-door!
I may have one coming next week for an audio install. Be sure to subscribe if you haven't so you don't miss it.
@@CustomAudioReimagined I am. Super anxious. When my 2-door comes in, bringing to you for a massive upgrade! :)

How much was the upgrade ???
Most of the Broncos systems start around $3500 for a single amp system and go up depending on how many amps and products used.
This is interesting. Do you have a contact for pricing? I would like to do something like this for my 2022 Badlands.
If you don't mind, let me know if you find anything out. Idk when I'll get my bronco, but definitely want to upgrade the audio.
Total cost? ish?
I don’t think you tested the ground correctly.
