I wish I could give you a big hug! A very satisfying evap video with no annoying edits, obnoxious music, speed ups and slo mos, all the effects people put on the videos dilute and spoil the satisfaction, so thank you.

I think this is why mine is freezing up, but I can’t see it because it’s under my house!

Your air filter is the first stop before the evaporator coils. The filters should be changed regularly and the coils inspected every six months. People would spend thousands on a kitchen, bathroom or bedroom remodel than a couple hundred dollars to properly maintain the AC/Heating system.

You don't have to remove the evaporator coil from the unit to clean it up. Just get a brush with being careful of the fins and then spray the coils with Evaporator Coil cleaner and rinse.

To thoroughly clean it and to get all the debris off yes you do have to remove it by keeping the coil in place. You’re gonna leave a lot of debris in the coil. This job is what a professional would do to clean the coil. Thanks for watching.

Was there a filter installed? Incredibly dirty. Mine looks like it has mushrooms growing on it but this one looked like inside an old dog hair brush.

Filter was very low quality washable material that was like 20 years old they hardly ever washed it

About 5 years ago my uncle "AC" guy installed a brand new system in my house. I don't know much about AC units or the installing of one but to see him weld pinhole leaks though out the line drove me nuts hearing the gas being lost. The worst of it was that he ignored me when I asked him if he vacuumed the lines. I think today time has caught up to my unit. Do I call a pro to replace the system or have it purged and refiled with new refrigerant or anyone else advice?, thanks
