I agree! I used to fish for entertainment but once you catch a fish it's either clean it and take it home to eat or let it go. Gold never stinks and it keeps forever 🤣
You should have seen this death cave in person. It was monumental! I could hear Lee when I first walked up, then he stood up. I could only see him from the shoulders up.
If only the gold found had been in line with the amount of effort to get to the bedrock there, then I would have a mountain house for my wife and an indoor arena for Oakley to play frisbee in 🤣

There were lots of micros in the stuff I was getting near the bedrock but flood gold is surprisingly hard to find in that area. I did have a good Christmas and I hope you did as well 🙂

Water has been a challenge this year for sure.
Yes, I missed the rain for sluicing but really enjoyed the opportunity it gave for me to get in the Yadkin.
