- The creek where some of the biggest gold from NC I've ever seen was found in recent times. Though we could not duplicate one of the past record days, you can see some of them on channel @greendave41 for yourself. Happy Labor Day to all of us who work to keep America open for business.

If I can get a piece of gold just half the size of one those big nuggets Jon has found, I'll be a happy camper. Unfortunately, I don't think there's enough real estate to uncover with a shovel to make it happen. A picker or two is definitely a good possibility though 👍

Yes, they look like something Two Toes would dig up in CA and not something we would find in good 'ole NC. Don't tell Jon, but someone told me that the monster nugget at Carolina Prospectors came from Davidson County. Just one county away from where I live!
