    It works great to use a hair dryer on cold or vacuum in reverse to find a leak. No carbon monoxide and no heat in exhaust!! I also used a smoke bomb with air blowing the smoke through. Thats by far the fastest. You don't have to run around spraying water. You just look for smoke!

    Cool test. Ya eventually another hole will start. Hell if it seals it to pass inspection or enough to sell the car. It's all good!

    I did what you did to my flex that was broken from the top where it connects to the pipe. It’s held 3 months so far. Was thinking about going over the whole flex with titanium wrap. But seeing your last a year plus I may not even do that now.

      I replaced this exhaust a few weeks ago.. Tape was still holding 4 years later.. Exhaust just rusted out around the tape.. th-cam.com/video/N0MDHrLphXI/w-d-xo.html

      Nice, yeah my whole pipe in both directions is good, just that darn flex decided to rot and snap. My buddy wants me to do it right for around 40 bucks. But I figure for this cheap see how long it holds up for 1st .

    Good vid ! That stuff is Tuff Looking. Ill have to check out that original vid. Looks Amazingly good after a Year. How close to exhaust manifold is it ?

      Repair is about 7ft from exhaust manifold..

    I bought 2 packages of this stuff. one stuff was gluey as hell and the other one was dry

      Yeah you have to catch this type of product during its shelf life. If you get a dry one just return it. It should come out of the airtight package “gooey” feeling through your disposable glove even before you soak it in water pre install.

    I had a small leak in my headers. I needed to pass inspection. I did a quick repair with fibrefix. 2 years later, I still haven’t bought new headers…

    Has anyone used this or titanium wrap with flex pipe? My ford edge bottom of flex pipe is leaking but no visible open areas (except when tested with soapy water confirmation). Wondering if this would cause damage elsewhere in the exhaust system or components?

      I let it idle for 20 minutes immediately after the repair to heat up the exhaust and tape then let it sit overnight.. I drove it the next day.. Here's the original repair video: th-cam.com/video/Bbbl8fsCx1M/w-d-xo.html

    Not sure where you live but I live in the northeast where a vehicles exhaust lasts about 10 years from the time you drive it off the lot brand new. I can’t wait to gtf out of here.
