This boss was hard, not because of raw difficulty but because I couldn’t tell where his hurtbox ended and his hit box began, with the confusion gone this is just mugly’s mound with extra steps
This guy was the hardest boss i ever fought and my whole life

I love Lord Fredrik. As much as I adore K. Rool (my favourite Nintendo character ever) Fredrik comes pretty damn close in terms of awesomeness.

If they wanted a boss that was more intimidating, they did a less than stellar job.

I just beat this game and I can tell you something, this game is amazing, the difficulty is just delicious, wow.

Love this fight. That fast charge was a clutch moment tho. Every time I landed the stomp, I felt lucky. The hit box is so small on his fat back. XD
I know this boss is not King K. Rool, and many fans are disappointed that he wasn't brought back, but I still think Lord Fredrik is a pretty cool villain with an awesome evil laugh and kickass final boss theme!

+Augusto Franco Exactly, I feel the same way. I want K. Rool back, yes, but I was just happy they stepped up their game with this guy, because Tiki Tong was just disappointing in my opinion. This guy, though... He takes over the island, freezes everything, and puts up one hell of a fight at the end. His fight is exciting and he even shoots ICE DRAGONS at you. Can't get much cooler than that. /ba-dum tish

How were they able to pack their game with fast-paced, explosive levels, but make their final boss so slow, tedious, and lackluster?

To get extra hearts you can jump on a penguin and then barrel roll sometimes they give you a heart and he will just keep throwing them so load up

It's kind of rare to see that a DK boss is given actual dialogue, other than just growling or yelling.
At the end of the final cut scene I missed Dixie playing the guitar victory solo that she plays at DKC2

I think the dkcr and dkctf end scutscens should swith places, because for one you dont do hard work, while the other you do, and the results are the opposite of your work.

any tips for the third part when the floor falls down into the lava? No luck for me, just cant do it, should I foresee to know where to jump ?
The floors that fall first are the ones that ascend quicker, so you should jump on them.
I thoguht this game was really good and fun, but I like DKC Returns, it just hits closer to the DKC franchise better.

I like this final boss it's a shame that no other DKC final bosses will beat Captain K Rool TRUE final boss battle in my opinion but it still looks good.

The characters did talk in the original Triology it's a minor nitpick but I'm wondering why not here?

I'll give you that about the show however I have to disagree about the games in the manuals for the original to Donkey Kong countries there is dialogue said by the Kongs themselves Heck they're able to write as in DK C 3 Diddy writes a letter to Dixie there's also the point of the game when you get the other Kongs and they talk to you heck in the final boss of Donkey Kong Country 3 once chaos k rool comes out and starts yelling at you about his robot whoever you are as at the time clearly response to him I thought that's what he was and I guess this just isn't your day is it

It's definitely not a cakewalk, but I think that most of the difficulty comes from finding all the collectibles and secret stages. The main game isn't toooo hard if you're decent at 2D platformers. Plus there are items you can buy to help along with an easy mode.
