Philadelphia is know for its Cheesesteak Sandwiches to be the best! Can St. Louis get a place in the running for Best Cheesesteak in St. Louis, MO. I take a trip to the newly reopened Phillies Cheesesteak and Wings in University City. A couple blocks over from the Delmar Loop sits this beautifully decorated racing themed spot! You are greeted with excitment like its your race day or should I say your race day to a blend of seasoned beef, onions and cheese that makes your mouth water. With a toasted bun with a garlic butter sauce on the bun this Philly Cheesesteak is winning the race for me! However the WINGS WINGS WINGS the Honey Hot Riplet wing sauce is setting a new stage on seasoning on wings! The sauce is sweet, zesty, smokey and with a little kick of spice. St. Louis Red Hot Riplet makes a major debut in these wings! It provides that only STL would know spice to the wings with a crunch no SOGGY WINGS! They had the crunch as if they were fried with no sauce. The added bonus is the crunch was there with a juicy mouth watering flavor that makes you wish you got more!!! Hats off to Mel and his staff!!! I look forward to returning to explore more of your menu and whats new to come!!!

I've been to Pen Station, O'Charleys, the different fish & chicken spots we have in this metro east area. There is no philly cheesesteak better than Phillies. The flavors are amazing. Also tried the wings. Got them to do it lemon pepper buffalo. It was so good. Try the cakes and the mango peach drink as well.

That was mighty nice of you to save your Wife 3 flats!😄 How would you rate their Philly sandwich against other's you had in St. Lou.? My favorite Philly sandwich is Penn Station on Lindberg but there is a confectionery store in Spanish Lake(name is Spanish Lake Market) that has one that is a close 2nd. They are a hole in the wall Arab store but their Philly sandwiches are big and the price is $9. I've never been to Phillies but I will because of your review. Love your videos!

Sub if kind of small. And the steak they used looks more like steakum not shaved steak. East coast has the best steak and cheese subs in size and quality by far. But, looks Ok for the Midwest
For wings no one beats Gobblestop. Been going for years underrated turkey tips, turkey ribs, the only drawback is you can't get the whole menu
