@fixitquick I only asked because I just did a valve cover gasket job. I purchased the parts and I purchased the exact same black silicone. Same number that was on yours in the video. It states on the package not recommended for engines. I return it and exchanged it for RTV gray silicone which is rated for engines, and it even states for valve covers. I just wanted to mitigate any future issues.
Cleaning the valve cover and the camshafts is an option but there is a risk of leaving residues that could clog the oil ducts and damage the engine that happened to me a few years ago and I had to replace the engine 1300 US dollar for a honda civic since then my only option is leave it as it is
Esa es la forma más fácil de llegar , tienes que usar una matraca más larga para tener suficiente fuerza y aflojar los tornillos número 10 , si lo haces con una matraca pequeña nunca vas a poder aflojar esos tornillos 🔩
Otra pregunta amigo, sabes cómo se llega al empaque que está frente a la tapa de válvulas? El que está por la bomba de dirección. Parece inaccesible y me pregunto si es necesario remover la bomba

Any reason you chose not to clean out the residue out of the valve cover? Also, are you sure that black RTV silicone is recommended for engines?
Black ultra silicone is good option .
That cover was nasty. Didn't clean a lot of residue anywhere else either. Seemed like a perfect opportunity.

Cambia el empaque vtec y el empaque de tapa de válvulas (cristalizados) y me falta ese, ya que sigue fugando un poco mi troca
