caution....that device could cause a tear in the skin inside the ear (very delicate skin)....this could cause an unwanted infection.

I just got new hearing aids (Phonak Audio 70 L-RL) and my tinnitus is worse that before with my old Phonak Luma 70. Going back once more to have them adjusted again. Why can't they set them up like my old hearing aids??
Thank you for this information. Earwax in general has not been a major issue for me. My wax tends to be super dry and it causes more of a sensation issue than a hearing issue. I went to an ENT who removed some wax and the remaining earwax created weird static sounds for around a month until it migrated out of my ear. I can pinpoint my tinnitus to a specific loud sound event in 1982. My feelings about my tinnitus fluctuates from mild to considerably annoyed. I have found some relief since i started treating an age related hearing loss. The first time i noticed the tinnitus was quiet was definitely an eye opener. It was almost silent for part of a day and my thoughts went straight into catastrophe mode and i was certain that something worse was happening to my hearing than the tinnitus.
Thx doc, just ordered the EARWAX MD kit. If after following the instructions, the train is still rumbling through my head, I'll make an appointment with a ENT and possibly look into hearing aids (OUCH $$)/

i had my earwax removed by an ENT doctor 2 days ago. i still have Tinnitus, is this normal? when should i go back to normal? pleases help

Good information. Question what is your thoughts for people with tinnitus, hearing loss, and possiable meniere disease ? Thank you
I would say that you need to find a really good Audiologist who can address all aspects of a complex condition like Menires Disease. There is a lot of fluctuation with that condition and you need someone who is experienced, and available, to manage it properly.

I use hydrogen peroxide to soften earwax then flush with warm water to rinse out hydrogen peroxide and any disolved earwax
