What I'm having trouble with is getting it to spawn at the location of the player without it being attached to the player or needing it to be constantly checking for it with a tick. I'm using the cached geometry in the form of a splash when landing in water. I tried doing it where it's on the character and is activated when making contact with the water and that works but I would have to detach it from the player somehow and that just seems like the wrong way to go about this.

Hello sir, would you please show us how we can use more than one alembic/usd caches( as like run, walk, dance etc. on the same character and keeping the all materials?

love this idea Beau! I have set up your trees to use WPO wind before and gotten a decent enough result, but would love to see alembics for really detailed/individual leaf movement (hero shot stuff) on full trees or foliage with really small parts. Would be incredible to have levels of movement detail for certain shots, without having to export to houdini/blender/speedtree! Thanks for all you guys do

Thank you so much and we really appreciate you being here! I'm super happy you dig the idea! You are right! I think it would be cool to have some options when it comes to certain animated shots. We'll have these sorted soon. Cheers, and have an awesome day!
