You can also take chromium polynicotinate. I take this form for low blood sugar related to adrenal fatigue. It’s wonderful to take before bed and helps balance your blood sugar through the night so you’re not waking up as much. Nice video thanks!!

I just started with chromium picolinate. First day, I drank one tablet of 200mcg and one hour later my blood sugar dropped from 190 to 158. Im not drinking any other meds for my blood sugars just chromium so I can assess how much it works. So far so good, Im sure that with a keto dieat and any form of exercise it will help me get in the safe zone. I will be testing Gymnema extract also, its suppose to help even more with insulin resistance. I'll share my findings once I test this other product. Like Dr Eric said: Be patient, stick to your keto diet and with time your insulin resistance will start reversing.

Now that I stuck to it for months, the results are crazy and the most incredible thing is I am enjoying it. I don't force myself to eat keto, exercise, or fast anymore. It's so easy, my body adjusted to it. My fat stores are gone. I have never been so slim and yet, never hungry. I take chromium for cravings and it seems to be working just fine also.

@@crystalv6122 dim helps to convert the bad estrogen in a woman, and even in a man into the beneficial form. Helps with weight loss. So helps with weight loss because having too much of that bad estrogen in the body tends to make you gain fat and less "sensitive" to glucose utilization in the body and proper metabolism of carbs and starches. I believe that's part of the explanation. But ask a qualified functional health doctor or nutritionist for more info....

Another doctor I follow says that this form of chromium is highly absorbable but it also turns more easily into the hexavalent form of chromium in the body, which is the form that's toxic and increases oxidative stress in the body. This other doctor recommends the niacin bound form of chromium as it exists in nutritional yeast. For chromium is bound to amino acids. These forms are highly bioavailable and is less likely to turn into the toxic form of chromium in the body.

It was the Chromium Picolinate that caused heart problems and PVCs for me. But it did a great job keeping my sugar down. So be careful about taking Chromium Picolinate. I take magnesium glycinate now which I'm very happy with because my pulse is back to normal and I don't have near the Premature Ventricular Contractions that I had. But I'm having a few more issues with my blood sugar going up but not like if I wasn't taking it because it has helped.

you have to understand that trace minerals need other trace minerals to balance each other out and have positive effects on your body. Too much chromium and not enough magnesium, calcium, sodium, D3, K2 etc will cause side effects like PVs, fluttering, arrhythmia etc so make sure you have your minerals and vitamins balanced out.

I have an 8 year old Autistic Daughter who is extremely picky when it comes to food. The only meat she will eat is Chicken nuggets. And basically peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches, popcorn, butter noodles, and sweets of course. We do good with limiting sugar and never once had a soda. But I am very worried about her overall health over time. We try and have her try other food but she rarely will. We give her a one-a-day vitamin but I know that dont do much. Could you recommend what kind of supplements you would give if it was your daughter?

Doc, what is a good dosage for blood sugar?
I got taken into Hospital in Dec 19 with Ketoacidocis, I went docs for completely unrelated issue and just asked her to do a diabetic test, I was 30. Her reply was "I don't think you're diabetic", anyway pee test confirmed I was in Ketoacidocis without even knowing, blood sugars of 28mmol. Hospital for three days on insulin, released from hospital on insulin, I don't take insulin, they still prescribe it.
fast forward a few months and my HBA1C was 35. (it wasn't taken on hospital admission) follow up after that revealed again 36 HbA1c. I stopped eating sugar, period, no if-s, no buts. It was a scare it put me in hospital. Anyway, they now say I'm 'probably type 2' diabetic, but if I go exercise for anything over 30 mins, my bloods have dropped below 4.0mmol. They usually sit between 5-6mmol.
Any idea what could have caused all this? I was told Ketoacidocis was mainly present in Type1. I'm clearly not T1 as I'd be dead now from not taking insulin. I don't take Metformin (that's not even prescribed?) I just eat better and take 1000mcg of Chromium, is this too much?
Hope you see this, as many other docs I've spoken to couldn't really explain why and what happened what put me in hospital.
