    Okay I have tried this and IT WORKS. I just spent like 40 minutes trying to find this video to comment lol. I have much thinner hair but same texture, I really hate using heat on my hair and every other no heat method makes my hair look crinkly/too engineered. This works amazing.

    This actually works pretty well for me! My hair looked much better! Not as goods are hers tho lol but I’m planning to keep trying… some people say their hair got tangled so I would suggest to oil your hair slightly and brush it through completely, then wrap the whole donut/your hair in a old t-shirt so it doesn’t get tangled while you sleep, I usually have very tangled hair and this worked for me! I’ll update once I try it a few more times!

Use quality shampoo (not Pantene or whatever), use a LOT of hair conditioner on the ends, warm water not too hot; seal the moist you embeded on your hair with the conditioner by using a leave-in and use a serum to seal the hydration in the ends since they loose more hydration than the rest of the hair. If you'll use heat, use a heat protection spray, if not the rest will do.

    As someone with wavy-curly hair, it makes me feel better how people actually go through this pain to get curls. I used to have silk straight hair as a little child but puberty made my hair curly like my mom’s and I’m glad it did because although I used to want straight hair to fit in, people now compliment my hair. Plus, it saves me so much time at night/in the morning. 😂❤

  • @BaileeWalsh
    @BaileeWalsh 2 ปีที่แล้ว +233

    Your hair actually looks like it has a wave or curl pattern from the way it frizzes like that. It looks like you brushed it when it was wet or brushed it dry, which would inhibit any natural pattern your hair has- among other things. I could be wrong and this video here was just in my recommendations so I haven't seen others from you, but as someone who has curly hair I saw how poofy and frizzy it was in the before shots and was like, noooo!

      Use a bit of gel in the shower after conditioning! That waters it down enough for my fine hair that it doesn’t feel crusty but my no heat curls hold really well. I use Moroccan oil on the ends and dry shampoo on my roots daily and I wet it again at night to do it again over and over until wash day.

      A little gel after conditioning works for me to hold a curl! Gel or mousse works better for heartless curls than hairspray for my fine hair. When I put gel in sopping wet hair it waters it down enough that my fine hair isn’t heavy or crunchy.

    This is known as 'Rag Curling', just with one giant 'rag' to form looser curls. Tighter curls are formed by using smaller 'rag' formers to wrap the hair around.
    If it doesn't work very well rhe first time try wetting the hair or using a product like mousse, gel, or hairspray.

    This is no scientific hair breakthrough.
    1. First you can do that with anything else that doesnt crease your hair. Preferably something soft and easy to remove.
    2. Second and most importantly. Spoiler alert!
    The results don't last. No offense to the video host or the intent about her content.
    The results seem good immediately after the diy hair donut is removed. However like I said the results wont last more than usually an hour or two less if humidity affects the weather for the day. The humidity is not only absorbed by frizzy hair quenching for thirst but also weighs it down....

      It actually does last for south Asian people because we have really thick hair that keeps curl patterns for weeks without washing. I have the exact same hair as her and if I curl it or do something like this the curls will stay exactly the same for a week. Other non south Asian friends I have, their curls fall out in a few hours or even minutes. It really depends on your hair type. That’s why most wigs are made of Indian hair because that hair is able to withstand anything and keep styles
