I grew up with straight hair until I turned 11 12 my hair turned wavy and slight curl, yeah, it's funny, but I have had psoriasis since I was 7, so i believe the damage came from that even tho my curls are quite pretty but it had weakened my hair's roots or.... Curls can be very loose sometimes and similar to waves but 1A, 2A, 3A are the loosest curls and not so much of rings but still considered curls but that is a full on ring meaning like B curls instead of A

Nah, those are both curls. Waves are not a loop, they are just up and down. Think about it like this: a C spins around and almost makes a loop- like a Curl. a W goes up and down, up and down- like a Wave
They’re both curls. To wave the hair you only turn flat iron 1/4 to 1/2 turn and pull straight out. You did same technique for both sides. They’re both curls.
No… waves by definition don’t have any coil. If you look down/up into a curl, it will have a negative spaces it’s CURLING around. Waves do not coil around anything. To make waves you have to create a bend in one direction and then release, and form a bend in the other direction like an “S” repeatedly. You can’t make a wave by COILING hair around an iron then heat setting in that coil. Waves and curls are pretty self explanatory.
