@@mollyw9075 Some would but okay. Glad to know you speak for all people. I lived in a veeerrrryyy small town. Teachers were not exempt from being ignorant.
This case has INFURIATES me like no other. The police force has a massive history with homophobia and it seems like those kinds of ideals haven't changed. They don't care about LGBTQ deaths most of the time. They didn't care to look into it even though there was so much evidence that foul play was involved and the deaths were connected - they knew all of this, but it would just be too much of a hassle and money to investigate further because the victims were gay. It goes even deeper than just surface level homophobia because a lot of the time when people can seem very accepting and progressive, there's a subconscious attitude towards LGBTQ folk that our "lifestyles" are the reason that harm comes to us. Essentially sort of victim blaming. It's an idea that these deaths, rape, abuse etc. are something we bring upon ourselves because gay people go to these chemsex parties, do sex work/escorting and hook up with strangers online. The fact that our sexuality is already seen as morally reprehensible to these people means that often our deaths are overlooked, seen as our fault or even in some cases thought as something that we deserve. It makes me so terribly sad and very very angry
@@mwoodbridge63 I understand that is the case for a lot of police forces. I'm sure not EVERYONE on your force is openly homophobic but sorry to say, wearing lanyards and putting a few rainbows about doesn't mean that the attitudes on a more institutional level disappear. Like I was saying they can appear to be progressive on the outside but when it comes to doing actual police work to save LGBTQ people's lives, a lot of the time they just don't give a shit about us. Especially gay men and trans women in particular who are more vulnerable.
Yea. If this was a man murdering a bunch of young women, there'd be at least like 30 officers working on it 24/7, talking about how they were just "so young and vulnerable" all over the news on a daily basis.
According to Google, the police officers involved in this case were *not* disciplined for their (lack of) investigation of the murders. Sadly not very shocking
This doesn't surprise me that nothing was done about it hut its disgusting. They should have been sacked especially the ones who didn't go to their higher ups with information given to them etc. Especially those also who didn't check the sheet or the mobile phones of the victims. The handnwritingnthingnalso really angered me.! As a UK citizen though I didn't expect anything less than them getting away with it all xxxzx

@@hollyrylatt-price2485 Perhpas the serial killer is friends with one of, or multiple officers. This is the only explanation why the police are refusing to investigate.
He was SOOOOO TERRIBLE at covering up his crimes. Like LITERALLY if ONE of the murders had been investigated just even scratched the surface of investigation, they could've found who he was
The homophobia was what I immediately thought was happening when you were telling the case. That is so horrible those police officers should never have jobs ever again.
"Didn't seem suspicious" Really? I think a dead body found partially unclothed against a wall should seem suspicious. Even if it didn't seem suspicious I think someone found dead should be given a proper autopsy or a bit of a look in at their case. The police work, in this case, is horrendous. Edit: I'm now halfway through the video and OMG these police are so irresponsible! He was found on a blue sheet with bruising on his torso and underarms, like, come on. How is that not suspicious?!?!?!?!??! WTF

I love how blunt you are in your opinions & see them as FACTS ! I’m a gay man myself & I have grindr. So seeing you did a story about this low key excite me. Sadly this does happen in my community. I don’t do drugs or drink myself. But I see guys on Grindr looking for that stuff . They call it p&p or parTy. It pisses me off that some guys glorify it. The whole police involved in this was absolute trash
Reminds me of the serial killer who was caught recently in Toronto. Everyone was sure that there was someone preying on gay men in the community but the police refused to look into it for a long time. Lots of men lost their lives and the community there was scared for one another for a long time.
Yessss I live about 30 mins from Toronto. When the police were at his house to arrest him; they found him in the process of torturing a man, who is still alive. The killer was an outdoor landscaper and lots of the body parts were found in flower pots.
This seems extremely strange to me: is it common to rule one's death as "unexplained" and not do an autopsy on the body because it "doesn't seem suspicious"?? I've never heard of this before
I feel really upset about the way police just ingnored the victims because of their sexuality. They were young men with a whole life in front of them, I'm really sorry for them and their beloved ones.
Eight minutes into the video but I feel so much for John, he didn't know Gabriel long but the fact that he cared so much about him and wanted to figure out what actually happened....ugh I feel like crying PS: love you Eleanor, this video was worth the wait, thanks for working so hard to give us all the information
I hope every detective assigned to this case was fired/demoted whatever. Truthfully, they should be charged with obstructing themselves when they do shit like that.
I think if it had been straight laced women the cops would have worked so much harder than they did. If it had been female sex workers though, they probably would have been pretty lazy still. It's sad that some people think one life has more value than another.
@tocka I mean... everyone dies eventually, somehow. Death is something cops see all the time. But these cops were willfully ignorant as these deaths were so incredibly suspicious.
Its so frustrating that he wasn't caught in the very first murder. He barely even tried to cover his tracks and if any forensics had been done it would have been solved before anyone else had to die.
Witness: Police, I saw who killed the boy! Police: No one killed the boy, he overdosed! Witness: Police, his name is... Police: You’re wrong, that’s not suspicious enough

she really respects the case rather than sensationalizing it... i love her so much tbh
AND DOESNT GAVE ADs
And tells it like a story which helps my ADD brain concentrate🥲
You actually dragged the police to filth😂
And it was deserved!!! Laziest police work I've ever heard of 😑
If you ask me, I'd say it's homophobia.
Ana Luisa Barbosa Rodrigues Might’ve been.
Yeah. Also I love your profile picture!
and then she goes “in my opinion” just to make sure she doesn’t get into legal trouble, smart girl!!
*_I bet it was to expensive for the police to buy a brain._*

Next time someone complains that there isn't a straight pride...
let me grab my death note 📓🖋
I remember that, straight people are not oppressed, therefore they don't need a pride event.
the Straights (TM) complaining about heterophobia:
Hey, I'm brimming with straight pride. No need for an event or a month to codify it either 😎
This serial killer said “look look look it’s me I killed them” and the police said “yeah Idk”
DROP EVERYTHING ELEANOR NEALE JUST POSTED!!!
Me
Oh yeaaaa baby a 48 minute video was so worth the wait!!
The title should be “A Grindr Killer and his helper Serial Killer Homophobic Police Officers”
It makes me so terribly sad and very very angry
i know that my police constabulary are all about LGBTQ, we do Pride events and they wear rainbow lanyards when Pride comes up in our city
Preach
Yea. If this was a man murdering a bunch of young women, there'd be at least like 30 officers working on it 24/7, talking about how they were just "so young and vulnerable" all over the news on a daily basis.

I know your disclaimer off by heart 😂👏🏻❤️

Your anger at these "officers" is incredibly palpable through the screen... and I support it fully!
I don’t wanna seem rude but seeing how much Eleanor has grown from 4/3 yrs ago to now in 22 , I’m just proud
Yep, all murders...
I hope a serial killer out there kills police men who refuse to do their Jobs so arrogantly when theirs clear injustice because you know if they won't do anything out of the kindness of their heart or as part of their job they will sure as hell do it so they're not killed
It sounds like this was a case of police corruption...
@@hollyrylatt-price2485 Perhpas the serial killer is friends with one of, or multiple officers. This is the only explanation why the police are refusing to investigate.
Getting pissed off more and more every time the police dont do anything :/
He was SOOOOO TERRIBLE at covering up his crimes. Like LITERALLY if ONE of the murders had been investigated just even scratched the surface of investigation, they could've found who he was
literally?? like that guy couldn't have been a SERIAL killer had the police done their job. he would have been caught at his first murder.
Kuroha Exactly, who writes a fake suicide note and says “Pls don’t blame the guy I was with last night”💀idiot
this whole case was just "that's the homophobia luv"
The homophobia was what I immediately thought was happening when you were telling the case. That is so horrible those police officers should never have jobs ever again.
i thought this too
A lot of police are homophobic
The police should have been charge with discrimination
Never,
@@kayakaziloqo7297 I’m not sure I understand what you mean
It was actually a specific chief inspector that was pushing this case back btw, he lost his job for it :p
@@joeanon8641 obstruction of justice should apply to cops too tbh. As a crime that is actually punished.
WTF
My heart is completely shattered by this case, and the police negligence. One of those boys could've been my son. I can't imagine how their families feel. RIP sweet angels
Two boys found in the exact same position in the exact same place who met with the exact same mean.

I think yEs
I can't believe this was 2014, the amount of homophobia from the police would make you think we are still in the times where homophobia was the norm
Eleanor Neale, quality is always appreciated over quantity. Your mental health and physical well-being is also valued over your product output. Please, don’t stress about it. Your subscribers love you for you.
I've found that when I'm distracted by my drawing, I can watch your videos without getting nightmares after. Now I've made a massive sketch that I'm colouring.
Oh my god this is literally like 5 minutes down the road from me, I’m so confused as to why I’ve never heard of this wtf
I had never heard of the shanda sheer case until Elenor’s video and I pass the House everyday. Don’t feel bad 😂
im local to this too. Yet i don't recall much on the news
Same for me my brothers school was down the road from there
I love how blunt you are in your opinions & see them as FACTS !
Yo. Stay safe, Fab xoxo
Fabian Toxxic omg, If you were named fabio it would be so convenient
I’m raging at the police. I can’t even with them. I feel sick because, these are young children who have died and the police don’t give a poop

How tf are the police allowed to get away with this
I’m not surprised Dagenham is a shithole all the authorities are unqualified
England innit
Reminds me of the serial killer who was caught recently in Toronto. Everyone was sure that there was someone preying on gay men in the community but the police refused to look into it for a long time. Lots of men lost their lives and the community there was scared for one another for a long time.
Yessss I live about 30 mins from Toronto. When the police were at his house to arrest him; they found him in the process of torturing a man, who is still alive. The killer was an outdoor landscaper and lots of the body parts were found in flower pots.
The clues were just so simple and laid out in front of them. This is horrible.
Sat down to have coffee after walking my pups and opened TH-cam and your video popped up right then and there! Too excited, worth the wait! Love you❣️
Are you stalking me?
This seems extremely strange to me: is it common to rule one's death as "unexplained" and not do an autopsy on the body because it "doesn't seem suspicious"?? I've never heard of this before
I’m so glad you addressed the idea of homophobia! That’s literally all I kept thinking the entire video!
Early af, you don't need to apologise we will still all support you even if your a little late xx
I feel really upset about the way police just ingnored the victims because of their sexuality. They were young men with a whole life in front of them, I'm really sorry for them and their beloved ones.
I don't know if I've ever yelled at my screen this much.
😂😂same
I think 25% of it was pure laziness and 75% of it was straight up bigotry and homophobia.
That killer is dumb man litterly saying "it wasn't me" 😂
It worked though!
Most anywhere else, it would've been a glaring red flag, but it worked in the jurisdiction(s) he targeted
The incompetence and lack of interest by the police PISSES me off. All these boys died under the same circumstances and yet there's no red flag? Jeeso
You do such thorough research and I love your videos!!
Now this is why we say ACAB ✨
Eight minutes into the video but I feel so much for John, he didn't know Gabriel long but the fact that he cared so much about him and wanted to figure out what actually happened....ugh I feel like crying
PS: love you Eleanor, this video was worth the wait, thanks for working so hard to give us all the information
I need a friend like John, and sisters like Donna and Jen
Police: *Finds someone being stabbed*
Police officer: "Hm...what do you think their favourite colour was??"
Well I mean I would treat someone differently if they raped a child
Person: I saw this man brutally strangle this man and beat him up.
Police: Ehh unknown death.
Police: He's gay so who cares?
"not suspicious" in what world are these deaths not suspicious?
Alpaxa in what world are DEATHS not suspicious?
@tocka I mean... everyone dies eventually, somehow. Death is something cops see all the time. But these cops were willfully ignorant as these deaths were so incredibly suspicious.
tocka ! When they have an illness or are over the age of 50 and die in their beds, or during the night
@@awoods1039 but if you just randomly drop dead outside wouldn't that be a little us?
tocka ! Yes obviously, that’s why he said “THESE deaths” not just “deaths”
Its so frustrating that he wasn't caught in the very first murder. He barely even tried to cover his tracks and if any forensics had been done it would have been solved before anyone else had to die.
Witness: Police, I saw who killed the boy!
Police: No one killed the boy, he overdosed!
Witness: Police, his name is...

wow you werent lying when you said the police work was trash. the fact that these people wanted nothing more than for them to put an ounce of effort in and it took multiple people dead and multiple families begging for them to start doing their job correctly just breaks my heart.
Your name was like the police when the families wanted justice
The killer's fake name on grindr "John Locke" was an English philosopher who essentially believed that selfishness was a good quality. That it was allowed by human nature.
