- Well now! I think we have another problem, user error of course! But wow the small block sounds awesome and has some killer throttle response.

We’ve learned with a dry sump system too much oil pressure We put a oil pressure regulator in the line going to the turbo and drain back into the valve cover and then we went from number tens to number 12 on the drain going back into the pan
Wheew, I thought Randy was going to hang the turbo outside of the hood like Cleetus😂😂😂😂just kidding
I admire your little group of racers you guys have. Two of the hardest things to come by in the level of racing you fellas are into is time and money, to have the money it takes a lot of time to make it, but yet you guys still give each other a lot of time to make sure each others cars are getting the attention they need. Maybe the world outside of racing should take a peak in to this life and they could learn a lot of lessons. Keep up the great work guys
John doing an old school valve check,Great work guys!!!
Randy has a racecar now !! Wow that’s a sweet car.
Wow , I was a little worried there .. good job john
Congrats randy! U tj and the team got her goin again ! Killer job! Can't even tell she was in a accident! Great work!
Ole' Boys discharge pipe was on T.V. It wasn't on Street Outlaws either. That's the O.G. pipe from the Ricola commercial 20 years back.
Glad to see the smoke was nothing major! Ready to see this car back in action!
You need a bigger sheet for sending smoke signals 😂😅😊
John I'm so glad to see that I've been missing his car
You gotcha one of them ole restrictors in the turbo oil feed
Congratulations great job guys
Very good looking car! Hope he gets straight out!!!!!
Great Job It Sounds Like A Pro Mod Even Though Its Not
Ready to see it haul ass.
John is the man, PMR better hold on!
Good to see you figured out what was causing the issue
Sounds damn good
precision turbo things
Good job Randy is happy
Great video sounds awesome good luck go win some races
I was thinking it was burn the new off??? This here vid seem that your shoes were big. You no, y’all got some good understanding!!! lol!!! What fuel your running? 👍🤙👍🤙
Fix

Daily
Do you guys use restrictors in the turbo oil feed?
Turbo is lower than the sump and the Scavange Pump is stuffed
Do u have a oil pressure regulator on the turbo? To much pressure
Awesome 👍
That seems to be the norm for a precision tbh. Randy needs to try HPTs new big boy turbo.
How much oil pressure are you running through the turbo ? It should be under 45 psi , or you blow oil past the seal .causing a smokie exhaust , just a idea try using a TurboSmart inline Oil Pressure regularter .
Good Job
Oil pressure regulator supplying the turbo reduce the oil pressure to no more than 40
So much Horsepower it’ll get outta there
How much oil pressure are you sending to the turbo? Even if you’re running a restrictor it might be over pressurizing the turbo seals?
Also a submerged turbo drain line can cause back pressure issues in the turbo.
70psi
@@TurboJohnRacing That’s pretty high, might ask the manufacturer what they recommend as a Max.
P.S. looks like a ball bearing turbo is 40-45# max…. 🤔🤔🤔
@@TurboJohnRacing yeah ball bearing turbos don't like a bunch of oil pressure, it'll push through and cause issues like what you guys have been experiencing.
Check seal in turbo
Steve Morris Motor?
Should also put electric oil pump with desired psi so turbo can still circulate oil after engine shutdown
Whoever built that motor did a damn good job I've been around long enough to know I cannot wait to see you guys lay down some passes
Did that fix the smoke from the turbo running a 40 psi oil regulator to the turbo
🎉🎉 THANKS FOR THE UPDATE. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING RANDY WIN ONE FOR THE TEAM .(COME ON RANDY FTW 😮 🎉🎉 ) .😊
Oil is running into the turbo and burning off
Great job, figuring that out. One step closer! Looking forward, to seeing the promod back on the track, via youtube.
👍for sticker on the lift
By doing the oil is running back in engine
Might need to fab up a drain sump tank right after the turbo then the pump
I have thought about that too
Its the best way. Turbo drains naturally and the tank gets sucked empty. Tank needs to be vented for it to work though.
That thing sounds rowdy
Alright, noob question...why is the oil yellow/green?
Does it have to do with the methanol or is like a brand thing where the manufacturer dyes it that color?
Brad Penn oil
The turbo getting to much oil pressure. Unhook it for oil filter hook it in side of oil pan
Sometimes the turbo seals fail...
Looks like you might need to lace the rings 180 degrees from each other in line with the rod pins instead of having them all in a line, maybe even keep some compression in the combustion chamber instead of in the crankcase, make any sense
Did you watch the vid?
@@TurboJohnRacing did what I said make any sense
Those NTK's read afr not OFR...
Poor Randy i bet he about feed up with that oil smoke!!!!🤯🤯🤯
We got it now
@@TurboJohnRacing 👍👍👍👍
Let's Goooooo!
Oil feed line too big needs restricter
Too much oil pooling in turbo?
You prob got a piston ring in upside down. Scraping oil into a cylinder instead of into the case.
We flooded the turbo when priming
Way too mutch oil pressure to turbo. Check john doc had the same issue and a restricter was the cure
Dump the turbos..... Roots Blower
why not return the drain to the dry sump tank?
We may do that next time the pan is off!
Is it oil or you have a injector open
Spoke to sone
Careful Humpty Dumpty doesn't fall of the wall...
Ford doing ford things.
rings on pistons upside down
We flooded the turbo with oil
@@TurboJohnRacing did it take long to get it all out?
U got it ...take a break.. Hawaii time bra ° ° ®✓
We believe in U |°°%
The problem is you run the shit out of it so that’s what you get
Incorrect!
I know what's wrong with it. It don't got no wheels on it mm hmm.
Prob blowby on turbo from seal
It’s ok it’s a ford that’s what they do it’s normal for them lol😂 jk
Cool 😎 . Noooooooooo 😢😅😊
Could b too much fuel.
Nope.
@@TurboJohnRacing did you work it out mate
Sadly... cant support a channel who is supporting Trump.
Wish I could just leave it about the cars, but I refuse to lower my standards. GL with your channel!!
I will support you even if you vote blue, that’s the difference between me and you!
Ford
should of just went with a tasla...they only smoke the gas.... plug and play gas is gay

Tesla ain’t got these horsepowers!
Love the sarcasm bruh! LOL
