- In this episode of FLY TV, we get to follow Steffan Jensen and Claus Eriksen on two days of sea trout fly fishing at the island of Fyn in Denmark. It's early spring, the water is still cold and in this film, Claus and Steffan will show us the best places, flies and techniques to increase your chances to succeed with your springtime sea trout fishing. Let's catch some springtime silver!

So epic! I just moved to Northern Germany from Oregon in the USA. I can't wait to head up to Denmark for some Sea Trout fishing. Looks like a lot of fun.
What Claus said about the low tide in the winter time is totally true. I just experienced the most crazy seatrout fishing in my life with very low water level in a shallow bay area! In all these years I thought you had to fish when the tide is coming in, but no!

And Denmark is king at sea trout. I been fishing as pro angler for many years now and I did enjoy this very much. Sad you did not take a moment to talk about gear ! Would help new comers pic right from start. I go whit a 7# medium/fast action and coastal line of 18-19grams
And for my sinking line rod I use a 8# fast/fast action rod and shootingline and head and that I'm use in hard wind or as im wish fish deeper the line im use is a sink 2 of 23grams 9 meter long that's a rocket!
I use heavy leader and tipet ring where I those the tipet for the actual day wind ect. But for most 0.25-0.35mm

I have no clue why I'm watching this. What I know about fly fishing - actually, any type of fishing - could be written on the head of a pin.... I think the attraction is the fact that this is filmed on Fyn where I spend most of my weekends :)))

+Dari Elfstrőm Jag vet inte hur långt han kan kasta, men när vi fiskar ligger vi oftast nånstans mellan 20 - 30m. Inte alltid man behöver kasta väldigt långt!

Niklaus Bauer Are you sure about that? On Claus reel there is a clear line, and according to your website the clear Kust shooting head line is floating while the Kust intermediate is coloured..
Crud Sweden : I think Claus is using a kust shooting head with slick shooter runing line..
