- Fly Fishing for Sea Trout/ Sea Run Brown Trout on Gotland. I live on this beautiful island and fish as much as I can. I was excited when I saw this day in the forecast, with sunshine and warm temperature. A perfect spring day. Although it is still winter.

@@FlyFishingbyRobert sjukt att det kan vara sån skillnad på olika ställen i landet. Här i Västernorrland är det fullkomligt omöjligt att hitta öringen på vintern. Jag har provat att fiska grunt som fasen och intill djupare vatten. Men det är precis som att all öring ha migrerat ner till Gottland 😂

hi, i live on the Northumberland coast in the UK and have fished salmon and sea trout in my local areas rivers (my best being a hen sea trout of 4 kilos) nobody i know of has ever fished the actual beaches and rough ground of the seaside (we have a lot of sand) for sea trout! could you do a video about locations and proximity to rivers? i would like to emulate your style but am hesitant to buy the equipment if the fish are not there.
Are the volumes of fish there?
@@robgreen6697 thats the thing! ... i dont know. and no one else does it seems. the rivers Tyne and Coquet are just below the Tweed and are historically famous salmon and sea trout fisheries but fishing in and amongst the rocks on the coast is a complete mystery.
When you talk about casting direction I think you meant perpendicular cast to wind not parallel or I misunderstood?

Chromer. That is a silver sea run brown trout that haven't recently spawned.

I'm out filming a lot. What you are subscribing to is the best stories I am able to tell from my fishing career. It is not a representation of how long time it takes between each catch. I have thought of doing a video about all the time when I'm not catching fish. Might come someday.
