- In this episode of FLY TV, Steffan Jensen goes sea trout fishing on Gotland together with Robert Hansson, but they're not wading as they normally do - this time they are fishing from float tubes/pontoon boats which gives them access to a lot more water to fish.
Except some great tips on float tube and pontoon boat fly fishing for sea trout, Steffan and Robert will also go through their best flies, all the gear they use and share some great techniques on where to find and how to fish for the sea trout.

Fantastic mouthwatering video,wow!!!!I just came across this video and now I can't wait to try my float tube for sea trout next season,never even occurred to me to use it in saltwater!!My only concern would be the pull of the tide,I don't have a tube with oars,any advice would be welcome!!
Then you need to be more careful. In the video, we fish in waters that barely have any tide.

Hi, these rocks appear all over Gotland. The most famous place is probably Digerhuvud or Hoburgsgubben.

hur knyter du upphängaren?
Maskmord använder en grinner skarvknut som jag spar en längre stump att knyta upphängaren i. Tex taperad 9 fot 0X tafs och 80cm 1X tafsmaterial. I skarven låter du en 15 cm stump sticka ut. Jag har även testat att ha den längre upp. Tafsring går även det bra att använda.
Jag lämnar en stump i skarven mellan den taperade tafsen och slitdelen. Jag knyter en kirurgknut och lämnar ett stycke hängande helt enkelt.
Vad heter flugasken Robert använder?
Grabbing the sea trout (or Salmon or Trout)with a glove on the tail can remove the protective slime off the trout making it vulnerable
to fungal infection and eventually kill the fish you think you let go alive to fight another day! Your intentions may be good but the result
may be unintended consequences! Otherwise a good video!
