At long last some quality stuff again on Kanalgratis! Was afraid FlyTV was done for.. Good to see a new episode with the usual suspects :)
I'm instantly excited to travel again and to flyfish throughout Scandinavia like I did back in 2019. Learned so much from Fly TV back then... from seatrout fishing on the west coast to the big streamer fishing for big browns up north beyong the polar circle, I managed to do it all that year traveling in my campervan and caught some amazing fish.

Nice vid!!. The original spey hackle shrimp, is called "pattegrisen", done by Claus Eriksen, back in 2008 i believe. We have loooong tradition for coastal fishing for seatrout here in Denmark. The fly part, beginning in the late 1960´s (first article in 1969 i think).
Do a tying vid for the Grey wollybugger/stickleback its a great looking fly!

Riktigt bra film, åker själv till Gotland 2 gånger om året för havets silver. Jag är lite nyfiken på håven som Niklaus använder, håven är inget problem men var har han köpt det djupa nätet.

Feel exactly the same way! Happy to see another film emerge, but i'm afraid the channel has taken the route of the clickbait youngster mass productions. More vids, more views, more clicks and more promo for their softbaits.

Never flyfished so Big waves here in Denmark - so that`s very inspiring to see. Phaps i should take a trip over the bridge to Sweden the next cold season. What`s recommended for the boots ? Spikes, felt or regular rubber ?

I prefer rubber with some studs, the Vision Michelin soles are insanely good 👍
@@niklausbauer8639 that perfect info.. a guideline man mself, but what`s a brand.... we use what we personally like, and some are just so lucky they can put their hobby into somthing higher, like your self.. dont Think there is a pike flyfisher in the World, who dont knot mr.Bauer from Sweden... i dont fish pike mself, but your flies is simply awesome and have used a lot of your tecniques into my tubeflies for salmon and searun Browns in the rivers in southern jutland (Jylland for us Scandinavian 🤣🎣).
We did meet a few times i Kolding at the flyfair - but again....you meet tons of people so....we cant remember them all right. Im a very good friend of johannnes junge (junge style pike fly), and he was at the flyfair the last time in Kolding too. Was in the tournament in 2016 in the finals (Best Danish champion in flytying, but no price for me that year - but great fun to try and tie with the other 9 flytyers.
