Questions, what displacement was your bike before you did the stage 2? Did you changed the cam plates and oil pump or just the cams? In this case what else did you installed on it? Thank you!
Thanks. This was a full stage 2 and changed oil pump as well. I have a video in my video library that shows everything I changed 🤙
Similar power to my stage 4 for sure
On prior video I was aide by side with Nedal’s and he has same setup and it was very close

Yes sir, louvered baffles are in. I’ll take that complaint as a compliment 😂
It’s worth it if you rebuilt the cam chest with a S&S kit.

She sure is pretty and that initial goose was nasty! Cold start sounds good 👌. I can definitely hear it idling when it’s warmed up. The cold start didn’t do the sound of the bike any justice. Sounds like you’re more than happy with it 😍. Still watching aim already subscribed lol 😂. Gd F&R what’s the top speed on that thing? I just dropped a video with my ninja and I hit 125 but had more left. I don’t think you saw it. Yeah I’ll take all of those houses lol 😂. Oh yeah those cams are nice 👍. Great video brother!

I purchased back in June of 2022 a brand new Street Glide Special 114.
8 months later, I am considering a 131 Stage IV kit instead of a 135 Crate Engine replacement.
Is a 131 now cheaper since the 135 is being produced?
The wait for my area in Pennsylvania for a 135 is likely up to December or later when it is officially released for here compared to scheduling a 131 kit upgrade next week.
I am just trying to weigh my options. Looking for any comments, thoughts, or suggestions for this upgrade.
Stage I, II,III, IV, or wait for the 135 crate engine?
I would wait for the 135. There’s a few good videos out there from several TH-camrs that have ridden and their reactions about the engine says it all. Big difference even compared to 131. Best of luck!

I have the same bike I think it was the only paint for the CVO RG that year maybe wrong but it was a middle of the year bike after coved shut down
I had an ultra limited 107 full stage 2. Really woke up the 107. Now have a stock roadglide limited with the 114. So far I'm pretty happy with the performance. Usually after or pretty close to the 2yr warranty going out some changes coming. I think the big thing is the sound from that stage 2 full exhaust . And the cams give it that lope.
Good plan, I waited 2 years before doing any of this work. 🤙
The bike sounds incredible. I go back and forth on doing a Stage 2 on my bike (RKS). But the sound, torque and power that you get with the stage 2 is amazing. Thanks for sharing. Ride safe👊👍

sorry my friend, CVO and a BMG GS are such different worlds. that just doesn't fit. either you are a Harley driver or a BMW driver. These are two completely different types of people. or it doesn't matter which bike you ride.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I don’t categorize people by what they choose to ride, I enjoy all brands of motorcycles and ride them all. I do agree these are two completely different bikes and that was intentional on my part because I intend to use them very differently.
Great to see your show over here in the UK! I have the sand dune Road GLIDE CVO 2020 and also done stage 2. I went with the redshift 468 torque version of the Cam you used as that suits my style better. Have the stock headers with Jekyll & Hyde mufflers and power vision flash tune which I then got bespoke tuned by dynojet. She's now doing 100 BHP but 137 FT pounds of torque so pulls like a train!!

Sounds really really nice . Question about your speakers and amp . What did you go with and can you hear at hwy speeds ? I did a stage 2 on my 107 but there's too much snow to ride.
Thanks! CVO comes with upgraded speakers and amp already and I can hear it pretty well. That said, if you are thinking about upgrading give volunteeraudio a try. They make awesome systems
What was the brand on the clutch lever? Love the bike! I have the same but its a roadglide. Ill be putting a cam soon.

Welcome to the channel! 22 road king, that’s awesome! Congrats! In terms of comparison, the GS and Harley, can’t even compare. They are dramatically different bikes. But I absolutely love both of the lm independently! 🤙

i just did my stage 2 put a S&S 475 CAM in and dont get me wrong it sounds FKN amazing but i don't feel any different power i have the M8 107 though.. i didn't have it Dyno tuned yet could that be why???? i got a hold of them at get lowered and im bringing it down in couple weeks for a dyno tune
Really? That’s surprising to hear. Tuning definitely makes a difference but my guess is it has to do with the 107, get lowered is awesome, he can figure it out. Good luck

Would it be less expensive to go from stock straight to stage 2?
Or like another channel suggested to get a stage 1then come back and buy the stage 2?
Sounds more logical to go straight to stage 2
After I put on S&S Mk-45 slip-ons, my HD dealership suggested a stage 2 to get the best performance of my 2017 Road King... also people suggested that I change out the oil pump because those 1st generation M8 pumps don't scavenge as well as one made after 2020.
Great questions. If you are getting the work done and paying for it then absolutely wait for the stage 2. If you are doing the work yourself, then you could do stage 1 and then later stage 2 because you can break up the costs of the parts. It really depends on your individual situation. Definitely would recommend changing oil pump for that year. 🤙

I also heard last night that the M8 MAP system is more finicky than the twin cam and could need mapping just from putting slip-ons on.

So I'm in the process of going with a Stage III on my 2017 RG Special but if a Stage II will give me a satisfied feeling then I would save some big bucks. Suggestions? Thanks
Completely agree. There’s no question stage 2 changes the bike completely and in my opinion will give you all the power you need. The difference between stage 3 and stage 2 in terms of power is minimal at best when you are riding. I would go with stage 2 for sure.

I am 5'7'' tall and was wondering if you, like some on a Street Glide suffer from any wind buffeting? The reason I specify my Hight is I think Taller people may have the buffeting wind problem more. I do notice a little taller windscreen and some say the helmet makes a difference. Thanks!
A lot of variables to your point impact the buffeting but at 5’10 and with current windscreen which is 4” and shoe x-14. I get no buffeting unless I’m going through high wind area where it can be felt. Hope that helps.
@@FLYANDRIDE15 Yes it helps and thank you. I was thinking about a 5'' Klock Werks as they say theirs with the flip on top adds about 2'' to 3'' over the normal screen.
@@ericjames7680 I think clockworks is a better looking windshield however the Memphis shade is thicker than the klockwerks and I think more sturdy.
CVOs are not recommended to upgrade , already powerful from Harley. Couple the guys I know went full 131 in CVOs and they had some headaches
Not recommended to upgrade? We’ve upgraded at least three so far and zero issues. It matters what and where you do the work in my view. That said, I have heard the 131 do have some issues.
We can be texting for hours ( if I get a Blue Steel Road Blue CVO I will almost touch nothing except to change the exhaust to Rinehart )if we gonna to upgrade it , I will get the RG ST 117 and go to S3 TORQUE , if you came to Miami let me know and I will invite to ride with us , and we will talk with a pair of beers.Cheers
