I think the whole "I'll keep her safe" is just to throw us off, to be honest. I have a gut feeling they will just suggest killing her and things like that, but Ruby herself will be fine by the end of it. The trailer was interesting, but I'll say, I liked the first one better. It's really funny, to me, watching this now, because I decided to watch Classic Who and the special effects differences is night and day. The Classics have fantastic stories, multiple better than New Who, so I'm excited to see if Ncuti will have some memorable episodes and as fun stories as well. @@ReactandRamble I think that the second trailer seems to focus more in individual episodes, taking away some of the mistery. I believe the first one was more epic, or felt more epic, but really didn't give away that much. Like, maybe I'm wrong, of course, but based on this trailer (the very end) and thinking about the Christmas episode, with the narration that happens in the beginning and everything, I think this whole story is going to end with the Doctor telling "the legend of Ruby Sunday" to someone else. Maybe Rose, I don't know. Totally agree, the whole silliness in the classic 100% gives more charm to that show! It's easy to see why Doctor Who was such a big hit and why they brought this particular show back. Look, if you're talking about New Who, I think it would be great! You can even make reactions to it. My favorite Doctor is/was 12 (I think 4 is my current favorite now, I really like him and the fact that he has some very unique companions) and 11 is also pretty good, he's a favorite for a lot of people. 13 has some questionable stories from what I heard and, to be really honest, I stopped watching New Who (until the 60th specials) in her first season because I wasn't having as much fun with the show, but maybe I was just tired of watching 10 seasons of Doctor Who back to back and maybe you will like her more than I did. Well, I'm thankful you looked up, because I just know this because I learned from you. I usually don't look up stuff like that, I just like to see behind the scenes and things like that.
I think it looks so great! I think Russel T Davies has been away from Who for so long that he had a lot of ideas for episodes and considering its only 8 episodes this season it makes sense why it's mostly him. People forget that when he was first showrunner he had a lot of input on the episodes he didnt write too. Also with Ruby my guess is that she isnt supposed to exist. She is a myth or a legend come to life and that alternate reality in the Christmas special where she didnt exist is the way it was supposed to be.
