I had the Russian made one about 10 years ago. The little round was faster than a 9mm. Crudely made but neat, wish I kept it now with the well drying up😀
My norinco in 7.62x25 and has a hard chromed barrel. I have well over 2000 rounds through it and it's still in near new condition with a crisp bore that's still new car shiny. The one you have must be an end of run model....
@@SmallCaliberArmsReview I just bought a RIA 9mm 1911 so I could convert it to .22tcm. I really wanted a double stack but the only double stack I could find was a 10mm. I’m considering buying that one too
The Norinco 213-B model, with wraparound grips and a shiny steel barrel, is similar is to the Bulgarian type and Egyptian contract models. The 213-B has the opposite safety switch configuration where forward is the fire position. These pistols have a well block strip either in the gun or the magazine to accommodate 9 mm rounds. The 213-A model has a wider grip and 13 round double stack clip that narrows to a single row at the top. I saw a demonstration of this model on TH-cam.
It does what it should to do, not bad adding this one with your collection. I'd like to ask, is the 115gr steel case rounds are inappropriate to run that firearm?
@@SmallCaliberArmsReview Thanks for your time answering my question. My last question if you don't mind about the reason you dislike the steel case ammo?
@@tam6051 There's a couple reasons. They usually coat steel case ammo in lacquer, when it gets hot it softens up and can gum up an action. Maybe not in the old Russian guns, but I bought a Ruger pistol once that was so gummed up, the salesman could barely rack the slide. (used gun) I had to do some major cleaning to get it to function properly. Second reason it that the steel case is much harder than brass, it can cause slight wear on the chamber as the rounds constantly go in and out. Granted, it's not much but less wear is better in my opinion.
@@SmallCaliberArmsReview i heard it has bad reputation but i couldn't figure out details until now. my only knowledge is that it gets rust so fast and causes feeding malfunction. you gave me a wide idea about it i appreciate your sincerity in writing. glad to be your channel's follower, thanks a lot
I know this is really is really old but the service life is actually 20,000 rounds, not 2,000 rounds. Someone accidentally dropped a zero when they printed the manual. Realistically, the service life is 10,000 to 20,000 rounds with most owners apparently claiming an average somewhere in the middle.
Being a southpaw, I find that the lanyard ring becomes somewhat a little irritating while engaged in prolonged shooting. It tends to dig into my hand, oh well, the daily struggles of being a left handed person...LOL
I'm not entirely sure, these are just some of the things I read when doing research on the firearm for the video. I believe it was from an older issue of Guns & Ammo magazine.
Just recently got a Norinco T-54 9mm model. Almost didn’t get it because its made in china. Did some research and went right back and bought it lol 😂. Discovered it has a 1:10 twist rate I have shot 115gr, 124gr, 147gr. All shoot like lazer beams at 25 to 50 yards man. Especially the 147gr. But unfortunately there is alot of bullet drop at 50yrds. At 50yrds 115gr shoot pretty good but has some decent spread. 124 is alot better and way sless spread at 50yrds. 147gr were like completely pure lazer beams at 50yrds with a very good grouping the size less than the diameter of a beer can! It’s kind of funny because on research on some the forum, forum pages people complain about it’s accuracy being poor and I really think it’s the shooter or maybe I’m just lucky? Because this is by far the most accurate handgun I have ever owned and shot, which is impressive for a Chinese pistol and super fun and no issues so far after putting a couple hundred rounds through it in one day. And from my experience shooting it, it has been the best pistol I have ever owned in my life! I am impressed for a Chinese pistol not bad Even at 100 yards it’s still manages to hit the target with maybe one or two shots missed…. This pistol ended up getting named lazer lol
That's pretty cool. You have a lot more experience with one than I do, I'm glad it worked out for you. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching too!
I have 4 of these. I shoot the roughest of the 4. I have personally shot > 5000 rounds through it with no problems other than occasional failure to feed.
I realize it's a Chinese copy of a Russian design, but I think now I know why the Russians are having so much trouble in Ukraine (which I am glad about).
Cold war era weaponry (the ussr and the ccp werent actually real communist, more less just dictatorships), also i just bought a norinco and man its hard to find mags for it
I have one.
I liked it more than my Beretta 92F.
The single stack magazines have been flawless, and feed everything I have used.
Thanks for watching!
Good review, Richard. Neat bit of firearms history. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!

I have a version of the Tokky....A Romanian TT-c...... great guns.... work great..... never had a failure..... good review.....
Thank you, and thanks for watching too!
I have a Romanian model too, the Chinese type 54 mags work great if you need more.
Thank you...
History of that is cool. Nice Norinco, there!
Yeah, it wasn't too bad. Thanks for watching Santee!
Just the weird kind of stuff that I like! Great video.

I had one that you could shoot 7.62×25mm 9mm or .38 super. 3 different bbl's.
I did see a couple of those kits. Thanks for watching!
7.62X25 is one of my favorite semi auto pistol cartridges
I have not fired any of them yet.
I love 7.62x25. But .22tcm has won my heart lately.

Place spring with the barrel and bushing installed. Hold in place when sliding the frame onto slide and over spring. Less chance of launching.
Thanks for the tip. Thanks for watching too!
I had a tokarav, loved that old gun wish I never sold it
I've heard a couple people say the same. Thanks for watching!
I bought one of these new in the 90s for $139. It was two tone with a silver frame and black side. It was my first gun when I turned 21.
They're a little more expensive these days. Thanks for watching!

I miss my Norinco mak 90 they make good stuff for commus.
Lots of it too. Thanks for watching!

What can you say about Norinco GI A1 1911? Does it needs changes of parts?
I couldn't say, I haven't had the chance to tinker with one yet.

Norinco was banned from importing firearms, sometime in the 90s. From what I read it was because Norinco sold guns to various criminal organizations.
I hadn't heard that one. Thanks for watching!
This is shameful framing, Americans are best at framing China.
If I ever get down that way, maybe I should bring some 7.62x25mm Tokarev TT clones.
That'd be cool! I do enjoy different guns.
Best of it are the "tokagypt" Version of the 213 , 9mm. Produced for the police under the Pyramids end of the 70s

If it's made of steel and the bullet doesn't fall through the barrel, it must last 5,000 shots
