Mel, I honestly don't know how you manage to bring us so many delicious looking recipes every week but I'm thankful for you. I definitely get stuck in a rut and cook the same things over and over so I need a push to try new things and you help me do that. Those shells and cheese look so yummy. I love a good homemade mac and cheese. Adding the chicken and bacon sends it over the top! The grilled cheese looks amazing!! I've never done a grilled cheese with pesto. Genius! I love that black skillet with the gray inside - I got it at Aldi it's called the Awesome pan and it's a dupe for the more expensive Always pan from Our Place. If I ever see them at Aldi again I will be picking up more they are wonderful!

We all differ. In my family for generations there is nothing like a slice of a homegrown tomato with salt and pepper. To us it is God's food, NOTHING better.
I then had a daughter who did not like tomatoes. Not allowed.
So she was disowned... JK but seriously, best thing in the world that ever was.
She is in her 30s now and I will get her there eventually... She now does eat cherries in some things and diced tomatoes in things... So we have gained ground...:D :D
On the flip side, I don't do salmon, so like I said we all differ.
Fish is supposed to be white, not pink. Lol.
In our neck of the woods if u ain't got bacon grease in the fridge u probably need to check yourself cause u ain't leaving right 😂😂
Same lol- I even would have skipped half the butter and used bacon grease for the roux for the cheese sauce :-)

I bought some “grill mats” on Amazon instead of the silicone mats. You can cut them up whatever size you want. They’re reusable and you can wash them in the dishwasher. I do all the time. They won’t let food fall through and they’re non-stick. Just thought I’d toss that idea your way. Great video. Thank you. I watch you all the time !

I do watch Mandy, love her channel, I don't get to watch as often as I used to and I've not seen that video but I have made many sandwiches and tortilla wraps with the Jammin Jams and they are SO good! I did a grilled cheese with left over BBQ and jam one time and Patrick still talks about that LOL

Welcome and you could easily make that in the slow cooker with the saute function - I have one of those and I love it. And I will keep you in my prayers
❤❤❤ Try a thinly sliced sweet onion on your next tomato grilled cheddar cheese. That's how my mom made it, and it's still a favorite. (Pickles are also good!)

I love a grilled cheese and tomato soup, the only soup I really like is the Progresso creamy tomato basil, I don't like any of the other Progresso soups, just the creamy tomato basil, I add a little butter and a cap or so of lemon juice, makes it so yum!
I use 3 different cheeses and an artisan sunflower seed bread goes perfectly together. Rustic goodness!
Now that sounds like something my daughter would love for me to make her!

In college I lived on grilled Swiss cheese and tomato sandwiches. I went to the Student Union cafeteria and they made the best sandwiches. I forgot about them until I saw this video. Guess what I am going to be making often for lunch?

Oh I so love tomatoes. My Mom worked in the schools for years and one of the teachers always had mayo, tomato and potato chip sandwiches. They are so simple and delicious. Unfortunately as much as I love tomatoes I can no longer eat them. They tear me up.

I had one but ended up giving it away. I don't keep my Kitchenaid on the counter, so it was kind of a pain for me to get it out just to grate cheese. Lol.

I wish I liked salmon. I love salmon cakes, just not grilled or fried salmon. The chicken mac and cheese is a must try. I think broccoli would be a good addition. More bacon is always good! What is the flavor of pesto?
It's made with basil, I think regular pesto is a much stronger flavor than this creamy style.

Thank you, I didn't even think of that. It's always toss them in and let them go for 15 20 minutes. Usually after something else has been in the oven. I love green beans too so I'm Def going to try this way you made them

A pack of seeds is all it costs me, but that’s because I have my own water well. I do everything the old-fashioned way. Trust me, the vegetables taste just the same when you get to picking time. 😂
