I've been in and out of the hospital for the past few months and unable to cook. My husband got in the kitchen the other night and fried me up some green tomatoes. I seen your squash and it made me think of it so I thought I'd brag on my man a little bit. 😁

My mom used to make the Bisquick pie but she would use left over taco meat and put green chilies on it with the cheese and Bisquick mixture. It is amazing!

Quick, delicious, comforting recipes. Thank you so much, Mel! The taco mac and cheese is right up my alley. I make a similar ravioli dish except its baked in the oven. Your crock pot version looks awesome. The cheeseburger dish looks so good. Omg I have got to try the chicken casserole!! I know the addition of the stuffing takes it over the top. Btw, thanks to you, I tried canned chicken for the first time!!! It's really good and I was pleasantly surprised. Just wish I would have tried it years ago. Better late than never, I guess. That Perdue Short Cuts Chicken is so good. I use it on food shopping days. After you go get it, haul it in, and put it away, nobody feels like cooking. So I get a few big Cesar Salad kits, throw the chicken in and boom dinner is done!!!!

Loved these recipes. Quick, easy and different from what I have seen I love to cook and enjoy more in depth meals, but sometimes I just want quick and easy. 😊

Try spreading with Pistachio Nut Spread that I found at Walmart and put sliced strawberries on top, or experiment with different fruits. I’ve put on croissants and Dave’s 21 Grains Bread toasted.

Lately, avocados from Peru are hard as a rock and never ripen! I always try to buy the ones from Mexico.
I usually don't comment on anything you do because I love your cooking show
