Your testimony of your faith was appreciated. We should never be ashamed to be christain. Like the blind man Batimaeus, we should always raise our voice above the voices of the world around us our testimony of our savior.
I hope so too! We've had a couple of "cooler" days but here's still kinda hot here in East Tennessee too. Thanks for watching and hope you find lots of yumminess here!
Good Lord, Mel! You have really outdone yourself. I'm so excited for Fall and even more excited to try these recipes!! Perfect comfort food for this time of year. Not sure which recipe I'm gonna try first but I have no doubt that they're all going to be delicious. Every recipe of yours that I've tried so far has been awesome. All of these make me want to get cozy with a blanket, a good book and some delicious food. Thank you so much, Mel, and thank you for your very much appreciated hard work. Also, thank you for sharing the beautiful scripture. I loved that. I hope you and your family have a blessed and beautiful week. 💖
Thank you so much for all your support and kindness Mary, I appreciate you so much! And I am feeling those same fall vibes, too! I hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy some fall foods.
I found that chicken and dumpling casserole recipe in my local newspaper about 3 years ago and tried it and found a new way to make chicken and dumplings. It is delicious!! I have the same can drainer you have. Don’t remember when I got it but I’ve had it for years. Thanks for the variety on this video.
Isn't it just neat how some recipes just disappear for a while and then all of a sudden you start seeing it everywhere again, and to many it's brand new LOL Thanks for watching and being here with me, I hope you have a wonderful fall!
I love to watch and learn new or old favorites in the kitchen. I especially have enjoyed being in Mel’s Kitchen with you. When you shared you were a CHRISTIAN, I knew why you have become a favorite with me. Keep sharing and thank you.
Wow you just flat tore it up Mel, I don't know which recipe to try first, you have so many wonderful ones and they all look absolutely amazingly delicious 🤤. They all definitely scream fall, and I can't wait to make them, thank you and God Bless 🙏🙏.

Mel I thank you for your company this morning in my kitchen...your voice is so calming and your recipes are easy to use informational and of course are so so good ... From > Your kitchen to mine, thank you ❤
I didn’t realize you worked a regular job as well as TH-cam. Whew. Thank you for your Sunday night comfort videos ❤ I’m returning to my job tomorrow after 12 weeks on disability I fractured my wrist and had surgery on it and am still rehabbing. Can’t say I’m looking forward to work lol. I love being home 🏡 Have a blessed week ❤
I'm so glad you've healed up well but I am sorry that you have to go back to work too.... I could not think of a better way to spend our retirement years 😊Thank you so much for being here with us, I appreciate you more than you know!
@@InTheKitchenWithMommaMel agree!! My hubby is semi retired works here and there. I have about another 18 months then I think I’ll do part time. Ty for always replying that is so sweet ❤️
I love watching your videos and trying new things out. The light of Christ definitely shines through your eyes. I’m Christian too, and what a great blessing it is to have Him in our lives.
I love your down home recipes & country style & how you are so real & genuine in sharing your love for God & life & l ty for that! Really enjoy watching😊❤
Thank you for sharing Jesus with everyone! I already liked you, but knowing your a sister makes me so happy. Can’t wait to try most of these recipes. ❤
I’ve been cooking for nearly sixty years and using the same recipes. So happy to find some new ones that are absolutely delicious. I’m a minister’s wife and truly love your testimony for Jesus. Keep just the good work❤️❤️
I am from Nebraska and I have definitely had Runza. Their ranch is delicious, too. Oh! I use to love the cake walk out school had at it's fund raising carnival. It was amazing winning a whole cake when you were little
I would love to get my hands on one and dip it in that ranch LOL I keep hearing about how great they are! Thanks so much for watching, have a great first week of fall!
Born and raised in the panhandle of Nebraska. I’ve never made the casserole, but I absolutely love Runza. I have made my own cabbage burgers as I was raised calling them. I absolutely love a mushroom Swiss Runza. That’s my favorite whenever we eat there.
Always lookforward to Sunday, s. I always know you will have awesome recipes 😊. The meatloaf looks so scrupulous 😊. I make mine in muffin tins. When my sons were little they loved muffin meat loloaf. I love ham hawk and beans.❤
Oh! How exciting! A whole hour of your great recipes! I probably am going to have to split it up though! I have to go make meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn on the cob for dinner!
Hi Mel! Greetings from Eastern Oregon. I'm of German heritage, and my grandmother always made Krautrunza's for the holidays or any special occasion. The difference was that she used sauerkraut instead of plain cabbage with the ground beef mixture and then stuffed in bread dough. So, so good! I miss her. Thanks for another awesome video!
I agree about the Formula L! I'm a senior and have tried many recipes and the first time I tried this about a year ago, "perfect" biscuits. Thanks for recommending it as a substitute for the flour.
@@InTheKitchenWithMommaMel No problem at all. I enjoy watching your videos as they are soothing & I love the way you prepare & cook the foods depicted in the specific videos whenever I watch them on TH-cam.
I just love watching your videos! A quick note on the lasagna soup, we use egg noodles or bow tie pasta because we keep it on hand and very rarely buy lasagna noodles.
Mel that meatloaf plate of food made want to jump into the screen. Everything looks so good. I too use those canned greens - they turn out better for me than the real thing. I have never done dry beans in the crockpot and cannot wait to try this one. Always learn something new from Mel! Thanks, and God bless!
This makes me so happy! I love learning new things too and I do learn new things here every week from all of you, too! And I agree 100% about the greens, I will NEVER go through all the trouble of fresh ones as long as old Margaret Holmes sells hers in a can LOL! Thanks for watching and have a blessed week!
Native Nebraskan here. ...I remember you previously featured a Runza dish on your channel. Runzas are so good, even though I am not a big cabbage fan. The restaurant also serves a Swiss cheese/mushroom runza and an Italian runza. Now just get you some Dorothy Lynch homestyle dressing (another Nebraska original). It is a sweet French-like salad dressing. Yummy!!!! Another Nebraska thing is to eat cinnamon rolls with your chilli. All these dishes look delicious!
I haven't made this but I am in Nebr and love love love Runzas.. They are just browned hamburger and I put onion with it. Then add cabbage and cook down. Salt and pepper and I add a short shake of Worchester sauce. Wrape a spoonful of filling in bread dough and seal and bake. Yummmmmmy!!! God's blessings..........😃🥰🥰

Love all your fall recipes. Time to get cozy and do more of those comfort food dishes. Your pumpkin recipe is very similar to mine. I called him three layer, pumpkin bars. Crust is the same but I take out a cup of dry mix and then mix it with cinnamon sugar and cut in some butter like a crumble. It is yummy too. I enjoy tuning in every week, even though I don’t comment very often. Love all your videos.
