11:24 can I use green enchilada sauce instead of the red?
I was in Nebraska last weekend for my grandma's funeral. My daughter and I went to Runza in honor of her. She would take me there everytime I would go visit. Small world isn't it? I love watching your channel!
Awh, I'm so sorry for your loss but what a special memory and way to honor her. And it is a small world and such a coincidence, I had never heard of RUNZA til this video!
Yes, Runzas originated from German/Russian immigrants to Nebraska. Lincoln Nebraska (my home town) had the first Runza drive inns and you can still find them today! They are more like a hand-held sandwich with the filling inclosed with a bread dough and then baked. So delicious 🥰
I come to say something like this... We are a Russian/German family from western Nebraska (Bauer-Schott... pronounced SCOTT)... I have my great grandmother's recipe.. we just called them Krout burgers or cabbage burgers... But I have seen people call them beirocks... I've seen instead of hamburger they added bacon. Runza is ok, being from there but they are not that great compared to our grannies cooking...
I love your cooking dishes.
Love this! Thanks so much for sharing with us!
Nothing compares with any of our granny's cooking LOL Your granny's sound amazing! Thanks so much for sharing
Thank YOU!
I’m from Nebraska but live in Arizona currently. First thing I do when I go back to Nebraska is go to Runza!
Runza had a whole interesting history and it’s the only place I know where you can get Frings. Half fries and half onion rings. Who doesn’t want that?
I’ve made them with bread dough but I’m going to try your recipe ❤️
Those Frings settle it, I have to visit Nebraska! Thanks so much for watching and sharing
You'll be welcomed to visit anytime Momma Mel! I lived in MN for 7 years and missed them SO much. Every time I went back to visit Nebraska I HAD to have a Runza.@@InTheKitchenWithMommaMel
I lived in Nebraska most of my life! Home-made runzas are the best. The old folks used sausage and sauerkraut, but many of us use ground beef and shredded cabbage. We made home-made dough for the outsides. My family never made the casserole, but that would be great for a crowd. ❤
The casserole is definitely easier, but I would love to have a home made old style one! Thanks so much for watching
All 3 looks delicious 🤗.
I pray Psalm 30:2 for your healing. 💞
Talk about a meant to be video for me this week. I have somehow ended up with 3 cans of crescents in my frig and this solves what to do with them! As usual, they all look delicious. I have always pre-baked the bottom crust of crescent dough when I've made something similar. Us Southern girls learned to cook pretty similarly I do believe. 😊 Thank you for going to the trouble to find us ongoing inspiration. I for one appreciate the dickins out of it, and of you!! God bless you and yours!!
Awh, thank you so much for your very kind words. And I didn't mean to have these two very similar crescent recipes in this video but I had a few cans of crescents in my fridge from Christmas that didn't get used, too. Can't let those little gems go bad on us. Thanks again for being here and for your kindness ❤️ Have a great week friend 😀
I'm from Ohio and have never heard of Runza. I love ground beef recipes and these look great!
You will love the Runza, thanks so much for being here!
Another Nebraska girl here and we love Runzas. We are lucky to have a Runza in our small town and we visit quite often. I do have to say that homemade is the best!
I am a lover of them now too!
Great video Momma Mel! The only trick that works to keep my eyes from watering when I cut onions is put the onion in the freezer for about 20 minutes then cut it up. It works so well!
Thank you for this tip! That's a good one to know! And thanks so much for being here 😊
I like to watch Chelsea on Little Mountain Ranch, and she wears swim goggles to chop her onions!
@cathylongstreth5405 🤣❤️ love it, I've seen Paula Deen do that too 😅
I live in Lincoln, home of the Runza restaurants. They have a lot of other good menu items too, not just the runzas. Definitely worth trying if you're passing by one. They're not national because they use fresh ingredients.
I have fallen in love and never even knew about the restaurant until this video LOL Thanks so much for watching and I hope to come thru one day and try an authentic RUNZA!
Your first recipe with shredded cabbage in it would be good with taco seasoning and Mexican cheese and served with salsa and sour cream! Or Soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic added in the hamburger mixture.
Great video.
Also to get a tearless onion chop, keep your mouth open while you chop.--no tears.
Oh now your speaking my love language 😋Yum! And my daughter says the same thing about chopping onions with your mouth open 👍🏼😊🤣
What a great trick. Never knew that. I have always just lit a candle nearby thank you so very much. Love from Debbie and Dexter-Dog 🐕 my sweet tiny rescued Chihuahua 🐶 companion living a quiet crafty life in southern California.🐰🐣🏠🙋🧑🦽🤓👍🙏😘💌🐤🐾💕
Ok from a Nebraskan; your Runza casserole was a hit. Both my husband and I loved it and it really hit the spot!
The crescent dough is a little sweeter than Runza but I had mine with ketchup as usual.
Winner winner Runza dinner❤️
Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm so happy that you and your family loved it too, I am a Runza fan for life now!
So nice to see several Nebraskans represented in the Runza comments!🥰
All of your recipes have the touch of a mothers love.
Thank you, sweetest comment ever ❤️😊
Yes..I definitely need recipes for ground beef. We got half a cow..I have 35 lbs of ground beef!! Looks great.
So glad this helped you out, here's another video with 25 ground beef recipes, too. And congratulations on your meat purchase. th-cam.com/video/Zsutd1gAnXI/w-d-xo.html
Hey was so excited to see Runza on your video tag as I am a Nebraska girl, home of Runza! You can always adjust the amount of cabbage if your family doesn't like it. I haven't seen this made with crest roll as a casserole. I have seen people take frozen rolls and fill them with the Runza filling. Now, we need to get you some Dorothy Lynch salad dressing!
Ok I'm Googling Dorothy Lynch salad dressing now LOL I am a RUNZA LOVER now! Thanks so much for watching!
@InTheKitchenWithMommaMel it is a sweet French salad dressing made out of a dining hall at a Masonic lodge (I think) in a small Nebraska town. It is on the menu at most Nebraska restaurants, along with Rotellas Italian bread! Maybe you could do a series of recipes each state is known for across the U.S. A twist on your recipes by country series you did last year. Maybe your subscribers could suggest a dish or sandwich if you wanted to keep it simple. I'm sure each state has a local sandwich they are known for. If you want to repeat Nebraska, the Reuban was invented in a hotel in Omaha. Just a thought! Thanks for all your great recipes!
Oh what a great idea! I think I will definitely be doing this! And I looked up the dressing and thought Patrick would love it! He doesn't like tomatoes but he loves French dressing 🤣
Dorothy Lynch is my husband's favorite salad dressing! Especially on Taco Salad.@@InTheKitchenWithMommaMel
@@InTheKitchenWithMommaMelI think that would be a great idea! Us in New England have tons of great recipes that are not just chowder like most think. ❤
As always, I’m thankful for replays. Not sure which to try first! Thank you, you are appreciated! ❤️
Thank YOU for watching
I make the Runza all the time. I use 1 lb ground beef, 1/2 lb pork sausage add 1 can cream of mushroom soup and slaw mix. I also use shredded Velveeta. And yes add worchestershire sauce,
Sounds great! I am taking a screen shot of your recipe right now! I think you Mid Westerners have created a Runza monster LOL
I am from the Midwest originally and lived in Omaha NE for 11 years and I have never heard of this casserole. Runza sandwiches are absolutely delicious but a lot of work to make. I’m going to give this casserole a try!
Hope you enjoy and I would love to get my hands on one of those sandwiches!
Mel, I am from Kansas born & raised. My mother made Bierock and it sounded very similar to your Runza casserole. I had to “google” the two. So it seems that Nebraskans favor the word Runza & Kansans favor the word Bierock. Both are the same ingredients basically as your casserole, but the filling is stuffed in yeast dough and baked. They were so delicious, and a family favorite. Yeast scares the dickens out of me, so needless to say, Thank You Mel for this much easier version!!!! Love your channel!!
I had to Google these, too 🤣 So interesting and delicious. You guys have a great thing going and I just can't believe I had never heard of this.
Hey sweet friends. Hope everyone is doing well. Asking y'all to please pray for me. I have been battling a bad sinus infection for the past week and it's affecting my vision in my left eye, so I'm wearing an eye patch. Thank you in advance. God Bless.
Bless your heart Mrs Alma, we will all be praying for you. This weather has really been bad for folks with sinus issues ❤️🙏😢
Sending prayers to you sweetie, hope that you feel better soon, love you.❤❤❤
@@InTheKitchenWithMommaMel thank you, Aunt Mel. This one has been so bad I haven't been able to do much of anything around the house. Hubby has been doing most of it. I'm blessed to have him.
@@lulamcrae2851 thank you, Lula. Love you too. We're continuing to pray for you and Oscar. Hope y'all are doing well.
🙏🙏🙏dear lady
I love watching you Mama Mel! This was another great video! I live in Nebraska so l’ve had several Runza’s. They have a Swiss Cheese and Mushroom Runza that is Amazing! It has cabbage in it but I don’t think quite as much. Also, the cabbage is cooked down until it is very limp and nearly translucent in these. You may want to try that version. It’s so good!!! Sending you lots of hugs and love.
I am loving all the Runza stories and recipes! Thanks so much for watching and I hope to have a REAL RUNZA one day!
Runza in Nebraska has THE BEST sandwiches!! Definitely not WW friendly, but delish! and looks like your casserole turned out great!
I am a Runza lover now! And thanks so much for watching and your kind words.
Yes ma'am.... I live bout an hour from Omaha, Nebraska and have both visited a Runza restaurant and enjoyed their sandwiches and have made a similar casserole and love it. ❤ Super good and quick and hearty 😊
You are a lucky one, I want one of those sandwiches now LOL
Oh Mel, u have such a talent for finding inventive yummy food! These 3 are going to be a hit for sure! Thank u sweet friend for ur tireless inspiration! U know that verse: "s/he who refreshes others will her/himself be refreshed" + I pray that for u an all these sweet community members too! 🙋♀️🎯🏠🍽🦋💕💕💕💕
Awh, thank you so much Sandy and this RUNZA is so good, well they all were delish but now I just want this RUNZA all the time LOL
Nebraska here!! Yes, we love runzas in all of their forms, including this casserole. The best thing ever though, is a homemade cabbage roll or also called cabbage burger! Amazing! Thanks for mentioning us.❤
Hey Nebraska ❤️ I am a lover of your Runza now, too! I can't believe that I had never heard of this before. Hopefully, one day I can visit and have a real, honest to goodness Runza sandwich ❤️
These look so good! Can’t wait to try the tortellini skillet soon! Thanks for finding some yummy looking recipes. I have not seen anything like these.
So glad you liked these, I didn't intend on making two with crescent rolls 🤣 but I had a few rolls of them that didn't get used over Christmas and they needed to be used so 😀
I grew up eating bierocks in the school cafateria lunch rotation..everybodys fave! I started making my own. For many years they have been one of my go to freezer filler.
I make mine with broccoli and american cheese using homemade bread.
The original with cabbage prompted my grandma to declare they need gravy on the top!
The casserole form is a fantastic idea! Thanks Momma Mel for sharing this🙂
WOW So many variation on these, I love the sounds of them all! Thank YOU for watching and sharing!
I remember Runzas with a brown gravy in a Lincoln NE hospital cafeteria where I worked as a nurse! They were made from scratch in those days.
I had everything on hand to make that last lasagna one and just threw it together watching you!! Just popped it in the oven, I CANNOT WAIT! Love u Momma Mel❤
Oh yeah! Give us all a report back on how it is! 😊👏
You continue to inspire. Here in Colorado, we make Runza with American Cheese slices under the top crescent sheet & sauerkraut instead of just plain cabbage. Gives it a twang as you say. 😀 We are a short drive from Nebraska and they actually have a fast food chain called "Runza" and they sell "runzas" which are basically cabbage pockets in a sandwich form. Thanks for blessing us with your beautiful smile and fantastic attitude! I always look forward to more Momma Mel!
You're the best! Your kind words mean more to me than you know. Thank you for them 😊 And I have been reading everyone's delicious variations on Runza in the comments and I want to make them ALL 😊🤣 I think Patrick would love it with the sauerkraut, too. Thanks again for watching, encouraging, and your continued support.
The Runza burgers are great.
It is the meat and cabbage filling is baked in a bread roll it was cut open when you order it and then cheese and toppings are added.
I make the meat filling in the crock pot. Then I bake it in frozen bread dough. I add a package of lipton soup to the filling. So good.
YUM The soup mix does sound great in this! Thanks so much!
I have lived in Nebraska my whole life. I really love Runzas. They are really good. I hope you enjoyed the casserole. I really enjoy your you tube channel.
We did! I'm gonna have to expand my horizons more often 🤣😊
I live alone, and I stumbled upon your channel today. I love the fact that you’re doing smaller meals! It helps me out, because I’m still used to cooking for 4-6! If I want to avoid having the same leftovers for a week to as many as 10 days, it helps me out so much. I also have a small freezer😢
Welcome and I'm so glad you're here, our kids are growing up and leaving the nest so I'm having to make smaller meals, too. Thanks so much for watching 😊
I really enjoy your recipes they all look super delicious ❤
Thank you, I really appreciate your comment. Hope you enjoy these and thanks so much for watching 😊
My family loves a bierock casserole. I also put sauerkraut and mushroom soup in sometimes.
Sounds Great!
I am from the Midwest and we made Runza in a roll and called them beirocks. Served with yellow mustard. Love them and love your channel.
YUM, I have learned so much about Runza and I LOVE IT! Thank you so much for being here!
When using taco seasoning I always add tomato sauce instead of water. It’s so much richer taste
Hi sweet Mel I at church will watch when I get home have a blessed week
Thank you so much Janet, enjoy Sunday evening service and I will talk to you later, thanks so much for watching 😊
Hi Sweet Lady, you always have the best recipes, we eat a lot of ground beef, so i want to make some of these, I think the crescent lasagna may be the first one I try.
PRAYERS
Thank you so much and that is a great choice 😊
OMG - the WW soup!! As soon as you mentioned it, I remembered the smell!
Thanks for sharing this!! Looks good to me!!
🤣 it was the worst smelling soup ever! Thanks so much for being here, I appreciate you!
Mel
I had to laugh when you were cooking the tortellini . My husband does not like chunky tomato either. I will be making these recipes this week or next. Thank you for the inspiration as I make my grocery shopping list. Hope you have a wonderful week.
LOL they can be right picky sometimes. Hope you have a blessed week, too!
Made the runza tonight and BIG WIN!!!! Thank you! We added Worcestershire like you said and then we used a sauce the ketchup and mayo sauce and it was great
Thanks so much for the feedback! I am so happy that you all loved it too and I just can't wait to make it again!
Hello Mama Mel, Thanks for sharing, you always have something that i can make that's easy.l love that.We are getting a lot of rain here in Georgia.Yall be blessed and enjoy y'all's week.❤❤❤
Hope you have a blessed week too and enjoy these, they were all delicious. And don't you send that rain up here to Tennessee 🤣😉
As another Tennessee person, please don't send rain. I am enjoying the little bit of sunshine we are getting. Have a wonderful blessed week ahead.😊
Nebraska Runzatic here . This recipe is basically the one I use at home. The restaurant ones are made with bread dough but I do like the crescent dough better at home. Runza will ship frozen sandwiches about anywhere in the country, I think. There's a website!
Same there about that cabbage soup
Thank you for the recipe❤
You're so welcomed, thank you for watching 😊
I live in Nebraska and I love runza's! I make them and do like you did with your recipe , but i add a little sugar, mushrooms and swiss cheese to mine!!
Yum! I just can't wait to make it again and try out some of the great ideas you all have given me! Thanks so much for watching 😊
@InTheKitchenWithMommaMel check out Runzas website to see all the versions: original, Italian; cheese, Swiss & mushrooms......
@rosemarydoran9907 I have been looking at all kinds of Runza stuff now! Love it!
Mel, I think it's like a beer rock, but this recipe adds cheese 🧀. I will be making this 😋 ❤
Everything looks wonderful! Thanks Mamma Mel Jennifer 😊
Thank you SO much 😊
going to make all three. God bless you and your family Momma Mel.
I hope you and your family love then! And God bless you too friend ❤️
Tks for the recipes I sure will give a try 😊
Yes! I live in western Nebraska and I have a Runza restaurant about 1/2 mile down the road. The Runza sandwich is very similar to a cabbage bun - very tasty. I am going to have to give this casserole a shot because the filling is my favorite part. Thanks for sharing and I hope your family enjoys this! Please take care and have a Blessed day ❤
❤️ You're a lucky lady! I've got to visit Nebraska and try the original sandwich. Thank so much for watching 😊
I made the Runza Casserole tonight. Added garlic to it. It was rather tasty. Since it's just me, I halved the recipe & will be having leftovers for a bit. Plan on making the crescent lasagna as well. Thanks! Glad I found your channel.
Yeah, so glad you like it too! And it was funny, I didn't mean for both of the crescent roll recipes to end up in the same video but it just kinda happened to turn out this way LOL But they are both so yummy, thanks for watching
You could add a drizzle of thousand island on the beef mixture before topping it, to give it that extra zing. A little melted garlic butter brushed on top of that lasagna casserole would have been delicious. I really want to tey that enchilada tortellini. All of these look delicious.
Great idea! Sounds extra yummy!
Your family is so precious ❤
Thank you 😊 ❤️ I love em so much. And I have to say, I've got some pretty good kids ❤️👏 (son in love included) ❤️
These look great Mel, can’t wait to try them! Always look forward to your videos on Sunday nights 😊
Thank you so much for your support and I am so happy that you liked these. 👍🏼 😊❤️
I love boiled cabbage
LOVE YUR EDITING !!!
Thank you, I'm pretty low tech but I like to try and make it as interesting as I can. I really appreciate you watching and noticing 😊
Thank you just what I needed have a great week❗️☺️
Thank YOU for being here, so happy these are helpful 😊
Run as are the best. Made this casserole several times. WE LOVE IT!
We loved it too! Can't wait to make it again and it was so easy. Thanks so much for watching 😊
I made the Crescent roll lasagna, it was so good. We loved it ~ yum.
So happy to hear that you and your family loved it, too. I think it's a fun, tasty, and easy little take on regular lasagna. Thanks so much for watching.
I was born and raised in Iowa. And I have never heard of runza sandwich or runs a casserole ever. But my family was not big cabbage eaters. Either. I am. I love it so I think I'm going to try this recipe.
I had never heard of the Runza restaurants either, but now I'm ready to head to Nebraska to visit 🤣 I think you'll really like this casserole and making half of this recipe like I did would be perfect for you, and the leftovers were great! Thanks so much for watching 😊
Looks delicious and easy to make. Blessings
They are both LOL Thank you for being here
Blessings always
Thank you so much and same to you. Thank you so much for being here. 😊
Runza is based on the German Bierox. We make this casserole often but we call it quick bierox. My hubby would eat the entire pan if I let him lol.
I'm there with him, this was so good!
Everything looked delicious! Ryan did an awesome job on the fondue stuff! Have a great week Mel.
Thanks friend, and he sure did! It was great 😊 Have a blessed week ❤️
Thank you 😊
Hi Mel. That easy lasagna sounds like a winner. I'm putting it on my list this week!
Hope you love it as much as we did, thanks so much for watching 😊
These look like winner recipes to me, can’t wait to try them ❤
Glad you like them!
I live in Nebraska. We LOVE Runza’s up here!!!
And I just can't belive I had NO idea what they were! I liked this casserole a lot and I know I would LOVE a real Runza sandwich. 😊😋
Ohhhh nooo!!!! Weight watcher soup is still one of my favorites!! 😂😂😂 these recipes look great and I always need some new ground beef ideas. ❤
🤣 we were talking about that soup again today, momma loves it, I hate it 🤣 So glad you like these and thanks so much for watching 😊
Oh sweetie 😊 I absolutely love that Weight Watchers Cabbage soup. I specially bought that Weight Watchers cookbook for that dish. I use stew meat in that soup. Thanks for these great recipes 😀. Plus I love boiled cabbage too.😅
favorite part of my Sunday night ❤❤❤
Awh, thank you so much friend, you're so sweet ❤️
Thank u you Al in my prayers to.
These all look delish & I have made many of your recipes in the past! Can you please tell me where you got your salad spinner?
Thanks so much, I am always so happy when I hear that folks are enjoying my content! And I got my salad spinner at ALDI a few years ago but I have a really good one linked her in my Amazon storefront, thanks so much for watching www.amazon.com/shop/inthekitchenwithmommamel
Hi mel ☺️ everything looked amazing yummmm thank you have a great week 😊 😀 😘
Thanks so much, and I hope you have a blessed week too!
I suggest anyone that passes through NE stop in and eat at Runza restaurant. The Swiss cheese mushroom Runza’s are a favorite as is their homemade ranch dressing. ❤️
I'm gonna have to take a road trip! 😊👏❤️
I love cabbage by itself or in something.
I love watching your videos ❤
Thank you so much, I love sharing ❤️
Love your little fireplace on your countertop. Where did you get it at?
Thanks! I got it Christmas before last at the Dollar Tree, it was in the $5 section. I did see them there this past Christmas, too. It's battery operated, just for decor (no heat LOL) and it's not a wax warmer - a lot of folks were thinking it might be and that would have been so cute!
I simply love cabbage and noodles with bacon and onions. I make it about every couple of months and eat it all myself❤No one in my family likes it. So I get it all🎉
Lol, perfect 🥰 don't have to share 🤣
Hey Mel...you know I love me some ground beef recipes 🥰!!
Yes friend, so yummy and easy to cook with! Thanks so much for being here 😘
Blessings and love!!💕
And right back to you, too sweet friend ❤️
Thanks for the delicious recipes, Momma Mel. You could also substitute elbow macaroni for the tortellini in the enchilada skillet. Yummy! 🥰
Certainly, that sounds amazing 👏
Love RUNZAS! Anytime I’m in Omaha I get a bagful. They freeze great! I’ve made them at home as well, but never in casserole form! Looks good!
I just can't believe I had never heard of them. My little world was too small 🤣 I might just have to try to make some of the original ones, too. Thanks so much for watching 😊
I have made Runza’s. They are so good.
Your filling has all of the same ingredients as the Runza filling. It is originally German, called Bierocks. Instead of a casserole, I use bread dough to enclose the filling and bake them. They are so good!
I am so happy with this recipe, and I just can't believe that I had never heard of them before 😊
If you keep the root attached on your onion, sometimes that helps with no tears when you cut your onion
Smart, thanks so much for sharing this tip!
Great tip❤
Awesome recipes and video thanks 👍👍😂
Thank you so much!
I'm in Minnesota. We don't have Runza here, but always drive thru to grab some if we're road-tripping where they are.
I'll try this recipe, for sure!
We just loved this! Thank you so much for watching 😊
Country Girl from Nebraska!! I haven't made this casserole but I have made the actual homemade runza but heck yeah I've had an actual runza but dang I'm thinking about making this casserole today!! Way way easier than all the prep to make homemade runways! Thanks for sharing
Honey, I am wanting to get up there and have me an original Runza sandwich now! Hope you love this quick and easy way to scale the sandwich up into an entire family meal. Thanks so much for watching.
I am a Nebraska resident. I’ve only had the Runza sandwich, as you referred to it. The restaurant makes Italian Runza, And I believe some other styled ones, but I can’t recall what the other flavors are. I’ve never eaten it as a casserole. I love the Italian Runza, though. If you or your family like this, you should try to make it Italian style.
Love your channel...great recipes. I noticed the little countertop fireplace on your counter. Love it. Could you please tell me where you bought it? Thanks!
Thanks so much for watching! And I got it Christmas before last at the Dollar Tree, it was in the $5 section. I did see them there this past Christmas, too. It's battery operated, just for decor (no heat LOL) and it's not a wax warmer - a lot of folks were thinking it might be and that would have been so cute!
Can’t wait to try the crescent lasagna. Looks yummy 😊
We really enjoyed it, seemed a lot quicker and easier than classic lasagna. Hope you love it too.
I love that little stove on the corner of your countertop! Wherever did you get that? Also, great recipe inspiration ❤
Thanks! I got it Christmas before last at the Dollar Tree, it was in the $5 section. I did see them there this past Christmas, too. It's battery operated, just for decor (no heat LOL) and it's not a wax warmer - a lot of folks were thinking it might be and that would have been so cute! Thanks so much for watching!
That look yummy please keep me in prayer I got gout in my knee an feet thank you for video.
We will all be praying for you friend 🙏take care of yourself and hope that pain eases off.
Yummmy!!!!!!!
Thanks ❤️ 😊
Great video ! 👍
Thanks so much, happy that it helped you out. 😊
Just found your channel. I already subscribed! Your recipes sound great and I really like your presentation!
Welcome and thank you so much for watching and subscribing. I love sharing quick and easy recipes here and I hope you find lots of them you would like to try yourself. 😊
I always substitute crushed tomatoes for diced tomatoes because of family preferences
Whatever it takes for them to eat, right LOL Thanks so much for watching
My family’s recipe has Worcestershire sauce in it. They are cooked as individual serving meat pies. We have German/Romanian roots, which is where I thought this dish came from.
Your Runza recipe sounds like Bierocks! I've heard that its called Runza in the Nebraska area ...I live in Kansas, and we call it Bierocks. 😊 All of these recipes sound delicious! Great seeing your family! 😊
Yes, I looked up that dish and they are pretty much the same. We loved it! Thanks so much for watching and have a blessed week friend 😊
