0:07 The Android 5 Browser icon is actually an older icon for the predecessor to Samsung Internet app during the Galaxy S6 era. Google didn't update it as they'll use Chrome as its replacement but some phones has an older KitKat based browser (mostly found on Chinese branded phones).

Android 5 was 2d but it's still looks better than android 13
@@ayaanjaved I have no idea what android 13 looks like, but I can say that android 5 and everything I saw it came after that looked like dog shit compared to gingerbread and ice cream sandwich and kit Kat and 3 point. And 4. 3.

Meh I really didn’t like android 4 and under, after kitkat it got better. Tbh my opinion says that marshmellow 6.0 was the best operating system at the time, not only during the time period, but also how up to date it was, it was like a mix of android 4 and 6.

You won't believe, but my Micromax Q372 had the some 4.4, 5 and 6 icons altogether. And note, it was 3G and Beta version was not released.
Android 4.0 to 4.4 icons were very nostalgic because they icons Is 3d
and you dont value something as much before they are gone, rip papercut design from android 5.0 to android 7.x

What is interesting , on my samsung 4.4 tablet there was some 5.0 icons (without updating apps, directly from factory) like play music play store etc. Only gphotos and gplus is from 4.4 version. Probably it was like this becouse itat model was probably ones of latest kitkat tablets.
Btw I am still using this tablet with KITKAT ! Just some feautures its not working on 4.4 i am running in online, virtual Android 10 emulators.

Back then, I was stuck on Android Kitkat. Then Jump to 🥧 (now using 10)
And for now it will be happen just the same as before when using Kitkat

Maybe is because Google still had some of the Android Kitkat and Android Jellybean icons. Since Android 6.0 theres none of them.

Actually. Some icons is the same thing. Like Dialer. Also chrome is the same thing. It depends. Im using Android 4.4 and im now in 5.0.2.
Android 4.4 is the last android that used the classic interface. Android 5.0 is the first one that use the modern interface.

The contacts version is wrong. On the left there’s the lollipop one while the one in the right is the actual Google one

I will say, the KitKat icons are beautiful, but Lollipop icons matched better with the rest of the OS.
