Have you had fun? and if you can say yes thats all that matters, (also build a car for you, nobody else, do what YOU want) Hell i wanted to turbo my old daily 121 just because it would be ridiculous
Well said man I actually really want a 121 bubble and I have for a long time
@@TURBOTRISTO I’m almost 40years old now and some of my first cars were 1k and now In 2023 them same cars not running are 10k with rust holes hahahaha. Enjoy what we have while we have it. I let a perfect mint condition 121 with under 70,000 on it go for $500 to a mate. D’oh
I have a areodeck 1.6 vetec I have to stop watching this 🤣 or I may be tempted
an aerodeck wow they are soo cool! do it
How boost terboo
hi mate , thanks for watching and commenting , i am not sure of your question
Shit so I could possibly do this and make it work but I don’t really want to lose ac and heaters 😂
Yeah it’s a hard trade off, but I beleive if you have a boost gauge and can check it, I think between 5-7psi is safe
There is another smaller cast turbo manifold for the D16 that’s “supposed” to be Air con and power steering friendly. So u don’t have to remove them.
@@Chris_Paul1 if you find it post a link man that would be awesome
@@Chris_Paul1 ohh really because I just got mine gassed and I love it 😂
@@TURBOTRISTO I can't post links in the comments. It keeps deleting them ? Tried 3 times already
Inspires me to turbo my 97 shitbox camry... I daily a hellcat
Lucky man! Turbo’ing shitboxes is so much fun
not tryna bash but i think its completely useless to put a turbo kit just to get less than 5psi.... couple more steps get it tuned and get your moneys worth!
Yup agree, not my car did it for a guy that wanted it fitted and couldn’t afford a tune, check out my car on the channel bro
Being stuck at 3 or 4 psi isn't so terrible while you bring the rest of the funds together.
you arent splitting atoms here were ran stock ecu on 12-15 lbs using slightly bigger injectors and a vortech fmu...thats it
in 1999
yeah there are plenty of small things you can do like an safc or similar you are right
@@TURBOTRISTO forgot to mention we used one valves off an aquarium to keep map from seeing boost...until the "missing link" dropped and changed the game! :)
@@dereckc9469 yeah ive heard that its pretty cool
@@dereckc9469 Hay what do you mean with "missing link"? I do have the issue with fuelcut on stock ECU, oly when boosting (MAP sensor?)
Why do you speak with an upward affliction? ?
It’s an Aussie thing , trust me I hate it and I am working on changing it
