Debating a set for my new 24XCR. Had a long conversation wirh clark at bergstrom and he was very helpful. Ive never tried them before but have only read good things.

Jessie with the OEMs spending millions of dollars to making their sleds handle better why don’t they properly shim ski rubbers from the factory? Bergstrom has been shimming for over a decade now maybe longer that’s all I can remember but I just don’t understand there Hass to be a reason why the OE are not doing it? Would love for you to pose that question to engineering!
Tried those but prefer the triple points. I've tried over 20 different carbides and nothing handles as well as the triples in my opinion. Again, everyone is different and you are definitely entitled to your opinion man. Cheers, Jesse
@@jamesmullen75 they certainly are. double the life of any other carbides I have tried. After 13,000 kms on one set, I took a look at them and sure the carbides were a bit dull but the bar was still completely intact. Never seen anything like that.
Haha its funny you say that. I wanted this video to be generalized for installing the carbides on any Polaris with gripper ski's. I installed the ski's on video and then took them apart after and added the wheels lol. Cheers, Jesse
Actually decided not to do a rollerski install this year since I did an install video 2 seasons ago. Something else in the works :) Haha there was alot of acrobatics required for this video with the tight space I had to work with lol.
Hey Terry. Unfortunately I don't. Only added them this year with the gripper ski's. But I have buddies that run them on their stock pro steer ski's and love them. It is a fantastic carbide setup and I am sure it will work great for you. Cheers, Jesse
What kind of warranty does Bergstrom have? After one season a whole length of carbide broke off cleanly on both skis. Seems more like a manufacturing issue, for the price you pay, they didn’t last.
Hey man. The guys running Bergstrom are a bunch of standup dudes and will always stand by their product if it actually broke due to a manufacturing issue. I would definitely reach out to them. Carbides are a wear item so generally there is no warranty but that being said, a manufacturing issue is another story. The past two sets of triple points I have run have lasted me well over 10,000 kms on them before I needed to replace them just because they became dull. I can't even imagine how they would break like you are describing. Did you use the ski shims that come with the carbides? Cheers, Jesse

I decided to try the qualipeice double runner called trek out of Quebec.

Just get some Snowstuds and be done.. best Carbides on snow hands down

Do you have an experience with the bergstom tripple point on say the 2021 oem skis 650 matryx ?
