This is making me feel nostalgic, I can’t wait to open up some 151 packs.
It also seems like it’s a collaboration of bass set, jungle, fossil, team rocket, gym challenge, and gym heroes
I swear all the videos of different TH-camrs I see on this set all say that same thing about loving how it’s all Pokémon we know and can say the names lol shows you how much love we all have for the first gen Pokémon

Such a sick set man! I feel like a kid again seeing all the OG 151 Pokemon! I opened my first 151 ETB today and pulled the ZARD last pack magic! I also pulled the Alakazam ex alt-art last pack on a booster bundle! Never pulled a Charizard it's a very special feeling! Looking forward to you ripping into the rest of your ETBs and getting your Zard!

The promo Mew is going to be a Gold Metal card, the Mew SIR, and the Mewtwo IR
Wish they would of did a LITTLE something different to discipher the two besides metal/paper. Then again they didnt even give us the Holographic sunrise/set on the other Mew promo card. 🤷♂️
First pack of pokemon cards I opened in almost 25 years had the Charizard IR in it!
The gold mew in the upc is the same card but a metal carl like the charizard and pikachu from the celebration upc

Most of my duplicates get traded back to vendors for more sealed stuff or whatever looks cool at the time. Same with the general bulk cards
Welcome back. Congrats on the hits. The gold Mew is a metal card in the UPC, I guess. So far, I've only opened up one Pokémon Center ETB and it had a lot of hits. Pulled the Mr. Mime, Nidoking, Mew ex, Alakazam ex, full art Mew, full art Venusaur, Venusaur Special Illustration Rare. Super happy with it. I only pulled one holo energy, which is kind of odd, but I'll gladly take 7 hits from 11 packs.
I got my preorder of 151 coming in to GameStop tomorrow. Can't wait plus the classic collection is coming out in November it was on preorder from pokemon center and GameStop. $400 and limited to 1 per customer.
It's the sunrise mew and Mewtwo AR in the UPC.
I 100% agree the pull rates on this remind me of sword and shield ! I went through 5 etbs as well and didn’t get any wild hits like previous S&V sets it’s almost like 3 out of 9 packs had a hit in each etb which hopefully will bring us better card pricing!
It will if they don't print a lot of this set. My prediction is, the cards will have high value at the start, but if said printing happens, they will go down by the time the next set comes in.
I so wish they would do a 251 set, could be a combination of Kanto and Johto or just Johto - either way I'd be ecstatic!

What an amazing first opening! Pulled all the Mews on day one! My first pull from my ETB was the gold Mew, was so happy! I also pulled the Pikachu illustration rare which was another one of my big chases! Definitely going to be invested in this set for a while lol! Can't wait to see you open more!
Opened 3 etbs and pulls were brutal. Best I got was the squirtle and ivysaur art rares

no not every card
You think these etbs will go up in value? Or booster boxes?
No booster boxes for this set but I think it’s worth it to keep some etbs in the sealed collection.
I got an ETB yesterday and pulled Charizard EX and Charmander illustration rare in the same booster pack

The cosmo holo energies 🔥🔥🔥 I'm not a huge fan of the new holo pattern.
They just didn't pront enought of 151 its so hard to find in my area even when it came out for like a week i could find it then thats its

I haven't collected any pokemon cards in over 20 years. Looking for something else, I walked into a local card shop today. I was told about the 151 and tried my luck with 2 booster packs. I pulled a secret rare full art holo caterpie and just wondering if he's worth anything? Any good sources for prices? Also snagged holo wigglytuffEX and alakazamEX

The Mew EX in the UPC is a metal card I'm pretty sure.
I was super pumped for this set but with the pull rates, I might forgo buying packs. Wish they wouldn't have regressed to early Sword and Shield pull rates, so brutal to open. Almost feels like they replaced minor hits with the cosmic holo energies.
I hope I get some luck on pulls as well.

Recently just bought this box and I just pulled 5 rare. Only thing I dislike about this box set is the card sleeves. Trying to slide them in & they definitely messed up couple cards. Definitely wouldn’t use them.
the pull rates in ETBs can be brutal. I havent been a fan of the sleeves since the matte finish change.

Did he not pull 2 Illustration out of 5 boxes. Thats HARD out of 45 packs. 😢 The Golds were nice and are Hyper Rare.

Giving a like simply for the "Too early for prices" remark when pulling hits. Too many well known youtubers bait with japanese prices or made up prices to drive the market early on.

These aren't worth it any more the price of this set is actually sad. Top card is a charzard that is just an ugly card. Set comes out at this price and will just drop top card will be worth 50 in a week
I hope the pills are harder than celebrations but not as hard as like fusion strike or chilling reign. Celebrations was too easy but others I still haven't even pulled cards from after years now. I think this is one I'm gonna be buying a lot of and sitting on. If the pull rates are right that is
