iv watched other streamers get awful pulls from this set. after watching the 3rd SAR zard pulled from 151 im convinced certain streamers who get early product are being sent loaded boxes to hype up the sets. same happened with revs early obsidian opening too. other streamers are getting 1 SAR in like 100 packs.

If you open 30 booster packs, that would be sufficient for you to meet the Central Limit Theorem - meaning that it can reveal a normal Guassian distribution of card pull rates. This should give you a rough estimate of what type cards you can expect to pull in a ETB.
If any box was gonna get me back into opening Pokémon cards, this would be the box. I’m an OG Pokémon card gal and the art work on some of these cards are *chefs kiss*
Thats a very very good pull rate. I opened 4 ETBs, got two SIRs- Zapdos and Giovanni, 3 IRs - 2x Psyduck and Erika, 3 EX - Kangaskhan, Wiggllytuff, Jynx. Thank god the commons and rares are so beautiful, cause the IR/SIR pull rate is low.
Thankfully I completed the whole set of 151. I also got a God pack with Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard ( 168, 169, 199 ). I am willing to trade my doubles or sell some of them. All of them have only been touched with gloves and they are all in sleeves.
It makes me sad that the chase card is seemingly so easy to pull. When I was a kid in the 90s a charizard was so rare that even seeing a picture of one in a magazine was a treat. Maybe its because back then I only had enough money for one pack at a time and never saw rare cards. I hope the kids today still have as much fun as I did when I was young.
Had a friend that kept a base set charizard in the back of his phone case for years. Chase cards were definitely easier to pull back then as long as you didn’t buy pre-weighed packs lol

I got great pulls in my etb. Gold mew ex 205/165, zapdos ex 145/165, zapdos ex 202/165, Venusaur ex 182/165, and Tangela 178/165.
