I don't think he wants to go that long. He said in press after the SF, that quality of life is more important than winning. What he did at RG this year, with his foot issue, is quite remarkable. But his foot issue is a degenerative condition and will only get worse since part of the bone is dying. He's not going to be able to keep injecting the foot to make it numb so he can play.

To ALL Nadal haters and naysayers, #14 🏆 is dedicated to you guys. Against all ODDS, Rafa overcame all obstacles thrown at him. One-sided draw, having to play at night session that he didn't want, having to play 4 top ten players on his way to the final. Message is quite clear: NEVER count Nadal out. RG is his castle and he is STILL the UNDISPUTED KING 🤴 of Clay!
At 36yrs old, winning another RG title after the pundits, tennis experts/commentators, Djoko and Fed fan boys etc all wrote him off. What an unbelievable achievement for the ages.
I would suggest to those Djoko riders who keep claiming NOVAX is the GOAT, you all need to bite it and STFU. Give all the excuses you want for Rafa winning his 2nd GS of the year, His racquet 🎾 is doing all the talking....and Rafa is not done yet!
