What an excellent tribute to one of the greatest sportsman of all times…..For me Rafa is the epitome of human spirit…What he has achieved over the years is simply mind boggling and extremely inspirational….He was and will forever be the GOAT of all of sports for me….
Yeah, he won 1 slam basically where Djokovic wasn't allowed to compete and won another one by using self destructive and unhealthy medical treatments for his foot. What an inspiration......
This year for me only sheds a bad light onto his very very deserved and inspirational achievements before - like all those RG wins and overall humility. He's proven that he's simply fallen for being a mainstream followboy by now.
@@danijelarsic8095 I can sense that you must be a Djokovic fan. I am a Djokovic fan myself and respect his game and immense talent and at the same time I am a big fan of Rafa. But being a Rafa fan I don’t stoop low and denigrate someone else.
Novak not being able to play AO was a tragedy. Not because he couldn’t play but because AO folks made it look like he was clear to play and then made him go through all of that trouble and treating him as some criminal. That was completely unacceptable. But if some rules state Vaccine is must then it is must. No one should be above law. But saying Djokovic’s absence would have made a difference is extremely debatable. Medvedev was in fine form and he had beaten Novak handsomely at US open. I don’t see why beating Medvedev doesn’t count much when Rafa does it but means the world when Novak cannot.
Regarding this year’s FO have you heard or read somewhere that Rafa recommended anyone to do what he did to his foot? Show me one place where he said others should also do the same in their lives. He did what he felt was right just as Djokovic is doing with Vaccine. Djokovic not taking vaccine is none of our business. But the world over Covid situation has improved due to vaccine and billions of people have taken it. But Djokovic’s decision is personal and we all respect that. No one slings mud on him for that. Likewise Rafa numbing his foot is his decision. Whether it is good for his health or not is his concern. Are you not taking vaccine because Novak didn’t take it? Or you are taking or not taking vaccine because of your personal choice.
All I am saying is enjoy life and don’t be so caught up with these small things. Big 3 will retire and then we may never have players like them ever. Just relish these opportunities of seeing them in action for as long as they can.

- Overwhelmingly lot of people all around and mostly the western world including all western media SLAYED Nole publicly for not taking the vaccine and questioned immediately him as a role model.
Nadal didn't say it was good doing the specific medical treatment, nor did anyone or any media outlet critisize him for doing so. Even you state that he is a role model too. And trust me, a lot of people are following their role models. They might just think it's ok doing s certain thing when rich sportsmen do it too. Worked a hell of a treat for the vaccine too. I haven't taken it nor would I ever do. And Djokovic taking all the risk not to do so either, effectively disabling himself of having the slightest possibility of achieving ultimate tennis glory while at the same time leaving the field quite open for Nadal to battle it out - that's a hell of a motivation to stay put to my course. That's how role modelling works mate. The same applies directly to Nadal's choices and actions.
And to finish off, introducing your argument with "I can sense you are a Djokovic fan" is implying a derogatory approach towards my statements and detaches me instantly to seriously engage with you further, even if your stances are absolutely not at all bad on most of the points, especially the last one.
Haven't seen much praise for all the resurrections of Novak in every field of tennis. Thus, calling Nadal the most complete sportsman for winning constantly one tournament out of 4 different of the same type is very contradictory and irritating. Whilst Novak has good wins on every surface (especially 2 wins against Nadal in 3 of the only losses ever in his career at RG).
Hypocritical at it's best. Whene Nole is injured and wins somehow, he's faking. When Nadal is injured and wins, he's a hero.

I will tell you what I do. I revisit some of their matches and experience the thrill and emotions all over again. Obviously as I already mentioned I am more inclined towards Rafa of the Big 3 so I feel really tensed and agonised watching the matches he couldn’t win. But that being said it doesn’t make me angry towards any other player. I just enjoy tennis as a fan of the sport.
For starters how about watching 2012 AO final. What a match it was. It doesn’t get better than that. Two players in their prime battling it out to their last drop of energy.

Nadal is a true champion, both on and off the court. An example to follow for all young people who want to be athletes. He has suffered a lot from injuries and has always recovered and has come back stronger. A champion and the greatest tennis player of all time.

Greatest Ive ever seen in my 62 years.
What Rafa has achieved is truly beyond his own and anyone else's imagination. It is magical and just out of this world. And when you realise he did all of that despite all his injuries, it is almost supernatural. His achievements are beyond anyone in just any sport.

He has endured so much throughout his career. So many injuries, so many surgeries, so much time spent off the court recovering. But every single time people start to doubt his ability, he has bounced back stronger than ever over and over again. What he has accomplished is just extraordinary. Truly the G.O.A.T.
"It's a miracle in Melbourne" that sentence will forever remain in my head because indeed, it was a miracle!! 6 AO finals, defeats must hurt a lot but after 13 years, he finally made it ! What a FIGHTER ! I was so glad he got that one. Everything about this guy is just entertaining, the king of forehands and passings shosts. Love you RAFA
When I am down in life I watch Rafa's video, the way he come back from injury time and again to prove himself is no short of miracle. He transcend sports and pity GOAT fight . He is inspiration on how to live life and never give up even if you fail doing that. True legend and may he find happiness in his life forever because he has earned it.

@devilmaycarebutGODdonot same here man I watch Rafa to boost my mood and confidence he’s an inspiration I really need to start doing the right things in life and not getting any younger. I get a lot of anxiety but I need to try and play to my strengths and achieve things to be proud of. Yeah I always work but in truth I’m treading water and need to make some important changes as time keeps ticking. Seeing Rafa helps me believe.
After that RG 2021, I knew that Rafa was injured and that loss didn't mean anything because Rafa would comeback and beat Djokovic. It's exactly what he did 1 year later.

Resilient Amazing Fantastic Awesome - 'simply the best'
You made me emotional with this Tribute. It was just great. I know this Tribute is meant to highlight Nadal's 22nd Grand Slam victory and his 14th French Open victory but when I see any footage from AO22, I just get emotional. AO22 almost didn't happen for Rafa. It was such a tough draw for Rafa. It was physically grueling for Rafa. I still tear up when I see match point over because he was never supposed to make it to the Men's Finals much less defeat Daniil Medvedev for the Australian Open Championship. At FO22, I knew Nadal would win his title back. As soon as he lost to Novak in FO21, I knew, one year later would be a much different story. His win over Novak was so satisfying that it made the rest of the French Open pure whipped cream. It was delicious! The Force is once again in balance. Nadal has re-conquered his Kingdom and has regained his Crown. Nadal Is The KING! Thank you, 6e Set, for all of your hard work. I look forward to these Tributes from you and your colleagues. It is a moment in time that I can enjoy over again. Thank you so very much.

Thank you for this RAFA tribute! It made me think of my deceased mother. She loved tennis so much and died of cancer in 2008. Her favorite players were Roger and Serena. She died before she could witness the ascension of Rafa and Nole. I love all four of them, but the guts and determination of Rafael Nadal is what sets him apart from the others. He never gives up and never use excuses. Yes, he has a dead foot, bad knees, and other issue, but it doesn't hold him back at all. Hopefully Roger can come back from his multiple knee surgeries and go out on top too.

This was lovely and such a roller coaster of emotions, that it was extremely intense to watch. I have never shed tears after watching a tennis match, but I did when Rafa pulled off that epic win in the AO final this year against Medvedev. An instant classic and indeed a microcosm of 'resurrection'! He's mounted these inspiring comebacks so many times in his career. Thank you for putting this together. Rafa's career would make a wonderful motion picture and this video, coupled with the amazing music, gives me a glimpse of what that would be like.

@@jeffreykaufmann2867 I mean, the fact that the Russians (Medvedev, Rublev and Kachanov) didn't play, the fact that Berretini and Cilic pulled out because of COVID, and that Zverev got injured before Wimbledon, proves that this was one of the easiest Wimbledon draws for Djokovic and Nadal in a long time.
@@ha-qg2ug Of course. Because of their ages (35&36) more early tough matches makes it much harder to have the energy needed to win in the Semis and Finals. If Nadal had to go through Cilic and FAA he would have lost to Taylor Fritz.
@@jeffreykaufmann2867 The energy is a big factor, but I don't think the energy alone would be a crucial factor for them to loose if they had to play against Medvedev, Zverev, Berretini, Cilic or Rublev. Because I think that some of these players, like Medvedev or Zverev for example, would have a high chance to actually beat Rafa or Djokovic.
I also think that Rafa would've won against Fritz, regardless if he played Cilic and FAA in the earlier rounds. Because Rafa is Rafa.
