It was a very beautiful match for sure, however, it's a pity what Medvedev had to face during the whole match from the crowd, after his match he literally said the dreams he had during his childhood were gone, he felt disappointed by how the crowd could treat someone, whenever someone in the crowd was screaming to support Medvedev, everyone was trying to shut this person, facing this during 5h might be though asf, i don't think Nadal would have won at all if crowd would be booing him all the time

I am so sorry to Medvedev, and please don’t lose your beautiful dreams 🙏💖🙌
And as an Australian I just want to say how disgusted I am in the crowd booing Medvedev. It is beyond disrespectful and an embarrassment to our country. I did not have a favourite in this match as honestly I wanted to see Federer win the AO. But I definitely feel that the rules at the AO MUST be changed to stop spectators yelling out ANYTHING during points.
Let the match be fair!!! And STFU during all play please. I hope Tennis Australia brings some rules in to enforce quiet during play!!!

    • @iamdalibor
      @iamdalibor 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's not going to happen.
Where were you when novak was playing past decade and a half.
Crowd is an opponent that cannot be stopped won't be stopped.
You either got the mental fortitude of novak and can beat both the opponent and the crowd.
Or you lose like med did here.
Nadal got nobody to worry now about except novak who is battling a war with corona currently and might not ever play at a GS event ever again.

      Far from it.
My point is it doesn't matter.
Seen so many times how the crowds treated novak and guess what... nothings changed or will change.
The only time it was fair was during the corona there was no crowd.
Until then your not going to change who and when they root for.
Watching novaks whole career I seen just how the crowd really is.

Exactly. Fans did their job and took care of business.
Sorry but med is no novak.
He let the crowd influence his game.
That wouldn't have bothered serbinator hes cold hearted anyways.
Rafa going to take the next GS since only novak has a chance to stop him and since he probably won't be getting the shots.. nadal won't have to worry about novak anymore at GS events.
We learned today med is not on nadals level.
A 35 year old having more stamina then a 25 year I was in awe.
      Rafa is doing something right.
He might win 25 GS now.
Novak... he probably is done playing for GS now thanks to corona.
      We shall see.
Rafa only got novak to worry about nobody else at this point and he's out of the picture currently.
