Great review. Tf Outback was one of my favorite figures last year and looking forward to getting this one. I was worried about this version as some people had bad paint apps on the eyes. But yours looked fine. Just got to keep my fingers crossed that mine arrives reasonably okay. I can deal with warped guns (fixable), but bad paint apps are hard for me to fix (not a customizer).
Yeah the warped gun alone might not be a big deal, it’s everything QC issue with Hasbro that’s causing a problem. Now I have been luck to not have any paint app issues yet, but how can we know if we can’t see the figure before buying it?
Damn.... How does the gun get that warped? It's like the put it in the bag when it's curing while it's still warm. These figs must have been sitting in a hot shipping container for a long time. I think Hasbro expect us to fix the QC problems. The same way they expect us to advertise for them. They are saving a lot of money.
I take everything out of the package. I'm not a mint on card kinda collector. I keep telling myself that the packaging doesn't matter but....... I really hate the way that the new boxes look. If they used the artwork and file cards from the 80's I would probably get used to it. What Hasbro is doing right now with the classified line looks like Tampax boxes to me.
I wish the storage lockers were OD Green for joes and a dark grey for cobra instead of the blue and red
He was a favorite of mine as a kid. Probably do a head swap with Tiger Force.
They definitely should have gave bazooka this body harness. Something this small would have definitely updated the figure and the backpack would not be looking like it's floating.
That's even been weird to me since the original O-Ring Figure. Backpack just floats on the back of his jersey lol
Honestly I’ve never thought about how some backpacks are just there, but I do now. I do think they should toss a trap in now when they do a regular release, they won’t tho

Congrats he has all of limbs intact! 😂 I like my old man Outback well enough, I didn’t like his webbing though. I need to do a wash over it maybe. Seemed cheap somehow.

I think the reason you see a colour difference on camera vs in person is due to the plastic difference in texture causing shadow variance.

This Outback looks good, kind like the ARAH version man... I will get it. I didn't preorder original this wave just to see how the figures comes out. I have the Tiger force and the two figures are worth having them because of the difference in coloring... To have the in different scenes battles in the shelves.😀✌️

I can definitely see the different colors through the screen. The elbow looks like it's a chicken wing yellow 😁. And even the hair it's two different colors. Above the green bandana it's a orange-brown. Below the bandanna it's more of a red-brown.
I have a very red beard and brown hair, so that is fairly believable to me.
Exactly crazy hasbro with this price point you would think. 😒

You sold me on both sets of Mark2 weapons. I tossed the AR15 pistol in our spare parts bin and gave him a traditional M4. I also swapped out the M14 that came with Recondo and gave him the FAL. My boys said I should have the tiger force outback and they should have the regular one, since I’m an old man. I swear I only have about a half dozen gray hairs in my beard, though! Great vid! Not one TH-camr goes over the “filecards” of the classifieds. But there was a guy on FB that made file cards for the 1st 36 figures. CI roadblock was double sided with Heavy Duty codename on one side. 😂. Only change I would make in how he did them, would be I’d have put Arctic StormShadow on a Joe background, or double side with both, or on just an Arashikage back.
Nothing wrong with the m18 rifle. It has an aim point red dot, laser in the front with the standard front iron sites. Very similar to JSOC M4 based short barrel rifles. It’s just missing the butt stock that all. But I’m good with it.

I think his right eye is too big. My Outback has it printed over the lower eyelid. I have an Unboxing on my German TH-cam-channel. As far as I can see yours looks the same.
It gets more obvious if you compare him with the Tiger Force version.
Man hasbro man! Damn these quality issues just don’t stop. Comes like rain. Stuff so damn easy to fix they should be able to don’t they have a team over there for this stuff ?
I'm honestly glad the Tiger Force version is so nice, so I don't have to order a second Outback. That old man paint job is just too good.

I'm glad your figure didn't come with bad paint on the eye, like most reviews mentioned.
On the other hand, the warped weapons is an issue that cames with the figures since Duke and that doesnt happens with Valaverse weapons which comes in a plastic bag (not Valashilling).
This is mostly an issue with the plastic formula and lack of QC, as they didn't sandwich the rifle between 2 cardboards.
Easy to fix, but We shouldn't have to, as You mentioned.
I'm tempting to acquire this one, but I'll wait a little longer.

No shilling these, AF weapons don’t warp due to the plastic they use, but they do break easier (not that bad if you take care of them). But Mark 2 Toys use a softer plastic that also doesn’t warp. This is just a shit show from Hasbro right now.
I can’t wait to get mine. Outback puts the O in GI JOE.

I don't understand when people say "Great review" when you can't even put his damn gun in his hands and you fail to show his head sculpt properly thru the camera lens.
