I’ve had this set for a couple weeks, and I really dig it. Baroness looks fantastic, has much better articulation, and I really like having the Twins in crimson. 👍
I do want this updated Barronness, but definitely just in her classic black attire.
I could see us getting her in blue soon too

I have so far skipped this one. I was tempted over the weekend, but then I saw Chuckles was available for order. Something I much more wanted. So I snagged him, Rat Boy and Snowjob instead.

The presentation of the packaging is wonderful while the Baroness also is the standout character so---- Thinking to myself should this set been released before we got retro Baroness and the standard twins. Asking myself do I really need this? Sort of on the fence but that Baroness mask does look good and the fact of her having updated arms. Sorry for the paragraph Bee's ✨✨✨✨

Nice addition to the line. The single pivot elbows on original baroness was'nt that bad in my book. Thankfully this version has double pivot points at elbow. A 1/12 scale cobra metal briefcase would have been an awesome accessory to have included with this set. Oh well.
Yeah it would have been better than the lame beat up briefcase that Chuckles came with
I agree, the first Baroness isn’t that bad. Though you have to admit the double elbow makes for a lot more posing. Can’t wait to get mine. It’s on its way
Probably sounds stupid, but I'm accidentally building up a Crimson Army - I just like red. Dug the Viper and BAT; Alley Viper in red is my go-to since POC. And getting a Crimson Baroness was not even a question. Thinking I might finally open the old Red Ninjas to add to the mix. Now I'm filling up a shelf display in Crimson Strike and I'm definitely all for it as you say.

Not a set i would buy per se, but I would love that Baroness as a single release (even repainted in black).
I cancelled my pre-order for this set. And now... I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and get it!
It's the updated Baroness that I want.
I got my baroness painted red right away. Would have liked the twins in suits or a variant of the crimson guard with no sleeves.
Looking at it from your review. I wonder if the golds and that metallic crimson should have been used more throughout the figures. I wonder what the baroness metallic crimson would have looked like on the twins shoulder guards and gauntlets. Maybe the silver belt and boots could have been gold on the twins with the baroness silver trims gold instead. The gold weapons are cool. Just wondering if they all had to be gold. That’s just nitpicks but overall looks like a good pack. Can’t wait to check mine out in hand
I did preordered them and I was told that they should arrive sometime this week... Wish hasbro would have given the twins some love other than just giving us a better asking tone and a more brown hair color. The twins should have came with a better metalic silver paint.
How is the plastic for them? Do they feel gummy like the Crimson Viper at all?
😂 “that just took everybody out!” That’s what I like to say when that episode happens. Interesting to see the twin that is harder to stand up is the same one I had issues with and the other stood up easily.
I have this set, it just arrived today. Overall I like the packaging and the customized nature of the figures in this set though the twins are reuse and repaint entirely except for that scar you highlighted.
I liked all the prior classified six in baroness figures, though the differences are subtle other than the retro has the removable glasses option, very little else differentiated them as with the lady Jayes though her retro face sculpt is the better of the two as other have said.
I enjoyed the review, I don’t have nearly the crimson figures you have my gosh but I’ll try to get some of the vipers.
Have you seen what eBay is already asking for for one box set of this???? I hope I can get one or two more to store away before they’re depleted on Hasbro entirely. What I hope is that these don’t end up with QC issues most importantly

It appears the skintone of the Twins doesn't match between the two versions. The Crimson version looks more yellow and the regular looks more pink.
Also looks like the crimson color between all the figures doesn't appear to match as close as Lenny said hey would. I don't doubt they used the same Pantone color but different production runs at different times means some variation. But its not enough of a nit-pick to put me off this set.
I just need to talk myself out of buying 7 more Crimson Vipers so I'll have the full 12 from the JoeCon box set. (I armybuild in 5s)
Besides it being an exclusive, I hate to admit that I bought this almost solely for the cardboard...
Hasblow could've gave the twins in red new head sculpts instead of reuse of the original ones. But no one really gives a sh!t of the twins as Baroness in red is what most want. All that just to get an alternate Baroness? Not worth it.
I only want Baroness out of the set, so I don’t want to pay for the two figs and fancy box.
It all looks good, but I really only want Baroness.
Update: I picked the set up today from Pulse’s restock and discount. My friend was willing to go in on it and he gets the twins and I get Baroness.
Something I didn’t say the first time watching this… The designer purse brand you’re thinking of is Coach. Also, you mentioned the Cobra emblem is visible on the bottom of the bases. Is the base molded in gold, or is the gold painted on top of a clear stand?
No one thought to include the silver briefcase chuckles steals from them with the strike team?! 😂😂 you know the thing that’s a major part of the story line and this set of figures …..shouldn’t be to much to ask on a $90 set of basically repainted figures….😂they always got there thinking hats on over there at Hasbro “you think we should throw that briefcase in with the twins maybe some of them gold bars seeing how they have no new accessories?” Naw it’s fine 😂

@@beesbattlegroundsthat’s what I’m saying had the silver one come with the strike team and the brown one come with chuckles so you had both …..just seemed like a over-site on there part 🤷🏻 they woulda had to make a whole new mold and obviously didn’t want to I kinda don’t believe no one thought of it
Chuckles is awesome tho just got mine today 🤘🏻 and if anyone really wanted guess you can always take a Destro case and paint it silver maybe paint the cash in the inside gold so it looks like the gold bars
$80 for a new Baroness figure? Easy pass for me

Chuckles and the Crimson Strike Team just feel like weak offerings. Especially coming off last years high of Dr. Mindbender and Serpentor & Air Chariot.
Agreed. Very lazy IMHO.
This feels like it was "easy" for them to do, they just jazzed it up with the fancy packaging, Chuckles feels rushed and his vacation gear gimmick is lame for what it could have been
