Bikepacking in Cornwall | Looe - Lantic Bay - Fowey

- Last September, there was a rare window of high temperature and we decided to go for an impromptu overnight bikepacking trip in Cornwall. We set off without a tent in our cargo, hoping to find a wild spot to bivvy by the end of the day. After a 2-hour train ride from Bristol, we set off from Liskeard towards south where we discovered many quirky coastal towns including Looe and Fowey. Having said that, it costed us lots of calories as the journey came with long steep hills into each town.
We couldn't have found a better bivvy spot by the cliff of Lantic Bay as we overlooked the coast and slept under the sound of waves and sky full of stars. The next day, we got to dip into the sea at Carlyon Bay and enjoyed a hearty meal of freshly harvested mussels from the nearby beach boulders.
We had so many discoveries over this '2 days 1 night' trip and we are looking forward to exploring more of Cornwall in the upcoming summer months...further south that is!

Hiya, I have been using an old model of Fujifilm X-T2 for my stills and footage. It has been 5 years and still going strong, although the video quality is starting to go grainy a little after so much abuse during trips.
